To be fair, neither does Jon.

He carries responsibility well. What I mean by that is he didn't hesitate to put together an army and take back his home. Sansa or more likely Davos will make him realize these people need a leader and he's that guy.

And I doubt that happens. By the end of the series, there will be nothing bbut women ruling the seven kingdoms, book it.

Jon will rule in the end. In the books I'm pretty sure that Stannis will kill Dany, but I think the Night's King will kill her in the show.

Yeah good point on Davos. It would like a nice parallel between him and LF. Davos is the best councilor in the Seven Kingdoms and really never has given out bad advice (Davos would be the perfect Hand), while LF may be the worst (with Varys being his only competition) and there's nothing but poison delivered with any advice he gives. Both are from low humble beginnings as well, which would make a parallel between them nice.

But I also saw LF shove Sweetrobin's mom out the moon door with Sansa right there.

I don't think you understand. You either either love your mom way more than is healthy, or you didn't get a very good look at how sweet that falcon was.

Personally given the choice between my mother and a falcon THAT awesome, I'd push her out the moon door myself. Twice.

That falcon looked like a pussy. As did the guy that was leading them. I was honestly surprised his prissy arse knew how to ride a horse.

I'm surprised he found time in between his mani/pedi to ride to Winterfell.

You looked like a pussy. That falcon would rip your heart out and mail it to your mother after he intercoursed her.

I'd shoot that falcon in the face and feed it to my hounds.

Someone other than me on the Dany dies hype train

Altho I predicted she dies in essos. That's not looking likely. But she still hasn't left yet

Looks like the episode did great this last week with live views: 3rd highest watched episode despite NBA Finals

Imagine how high it would have been if the Finals weren't going on.

I mean this prophesy has to come to pass:

"Glowing like sunset, a red sword was raised in the hand of a blue-eyed king who cast no shadow."

Dany has to meet Stannis, and I am a firm believer Stannis in the books will become the Night's King. It was just "too complex" for the show, and it also stands in the way of the Battle of the Bastards, which I think will be far smaller in the books and take place at the Wall instead of Winterfell. It makes sense though to play it up in the show since what else is Jon going to do with 2 seasons left? Second to last season should be focused on Jon trying to make sure the Others don't pass through the Wall and failing at that, and then the final season will be him taking down the Others. So Stannis had to be eliminated at large to achieve that.

That would piss me off if that happens. She needs to at least make it to Westeros to make her story at all worthwhile.

Just seems like such a GRRM thing to do.

As she's boarding the ship..bam..harpys out of nowhere.

Unlikely given how things have turned out altho I question how a shirtless dothraki horde, horses, and unsullied can all fit on 150 ships

Logistics don't matter much in tv world obv.

If they land in Dorne they will to cross a treacherous mountain
range path and then deal with the might of Highgarden.

Hmm where could they land? Can't go the same route as Aegon because the red keep is there now. Storms End maybe ?

People say that about George, but George conforms to story structure and prophesy more than most people give him credit for. They say he's some sort of visionary by killing Ned Stark and the Red Wedding, but the character's arcs were complete on the people who died there. There weren't any loose ends unless they were entirely deliberate, like Ned not telling Jon about his true heritage.

If Dany doesn't make it to Westeros, then it was a total waste of our time, and her arc is totally incomplete. It's why none of us bought for a second that Jon Snow was truly dead or dead for good. He conforms to these tropes. There is still much to Jon Snow's story we have yet to get to, so he's safe for the foreseeable future, as is Dany.

See, I feel like this is a Stark story and Dany's story is/was conquering essos.

I don't care either way if she makes it. I think dragons burning up westeros would be lame. I also don't think there will be many tv scenes of her full army sieging due to $$$. But conquering a continent would require such

Either way you are more than likely correct and I like your NK killing dany theory. Would require her to be hella north or the NK to be hella south though

Dragonstone clearly. That's where Dany's story started, and this is where her end will start as well. Plus there's tons of Dragonglass there, which from a story perspective makes sense why she would land there. Something tells me that WoW (not the episode) ends with Dany arriving on Dragonstone, looking over the Painted Table with Tyrion, and a raven flies in with a message from Jon Snow. It warns all the Lords of the Realm that the Others have broken through the Wall and to send all troops north to the Wall to defend the realm. Tyrion will tell Dany that even with her dragons that she has no hope in conquering the realm outright, but she can choose to save the realm, since LF and Varys clearly won't. Tyrion will then travel north with half the army to treat with LF and Sansa in Winterfell as well as join Jon Snow, while Dany and Jorah will head to King's Landing to treat with Varys and Aegon to save the realm. Neither LF or Varys will oblige them, and this is how Tyrion will win the War.

If they land at DS her ships still need to moor somewhere on the continent for her dothraki ground game but I suppose blackwater Bay could work

As I said, Dany will not win Westeros by conquering it. Tyrion's advice to her will be conquering it by saving it. LF, Varys, and Euron will do nothing of the sort choosing to hide in their castle walls.

And don't worry about the budget. Every episode in the following seasons will have a budget near the Pilot of LOST on average. GoT is almost certainly going to break LOST's long held record of being the most expensive show in history.

Well, again with things coming full circle, there's only one true logical place for the final battle to take place: The Trident.
