I'd be cool with them just acknowledging his death but it won't work for this show. I do need some closure of this though... Balon has far outlived himself in the show. Time to die.

It would be kind of cheap for the usual suspects to be at a council meeting next episode and have Varys or Tywin say "Oh, by the way, a raven came by that said that Balon is dead."
