They played it last episode right after Jaime resuced Brienne and during Blackwater...guess Hodors won't realize it.

They were playing a teaser of it while Cersei explained it.
Did everyone else think that the Daario casting was a home run hire? He just exudes the cocky cool that defines Daario.

I'm not sad to see the blue hair and extravagant mustache excluded either..... Always have thought that was goofy as hell

The guy who plays Daario is nice to look at, but he's a douche. He ain't no Jaime or Jon

Now Daario isn't the most likable character in the ASOIAF universe I know but I don't understand all the intense hate.
He knows what he wants and he stops at nothing to achieve it and he tells us that from his own mouth.
"I'm the simplest man you'll ever meet..... I only do what I want."
That attitude deserves its own kind of respect IMO

Thats because it is.
He looks like such a douche with the tri-beard or whatever. If it was just the blue/colored hair I would've got it cause that's supposed to be part of the culture of some areas of the Essos. Everything else is just kind of over the top.

I thought it was very good as an episode in its own right, above being a setup for the next episode.
They really nailed the stuff they needed to convey from the books - especially the Tyrion/Sansa wedding. Tyrion being noble as hell, Sansa not being able to overcome her more superficial nature even after he had saved her from Joffrey and promised not to hurt her or force her to do anything she didn't want to. Even Tywin showing his stern but reasonable side in calling off the bedding.
Arya and the hound, though brief was also very good. It showed Clegane as the actual person he is rather than a bogeyman as most in Westeros look at him as. I'm curious to see how they show Arya deciding to leave him to suffer. (of course he hits her with an ax between now and then - even if it is for her own good).
I like them combining Gendry with Edric. Good move in that it gives Gendry more screen time and still gives the interplay between Stannis, Davos and Melissandre. The Stannis story line is becoming one of my favorites.
The Danny story line was ok. We got to see Danny coming out of the bath. And the casting of Dario was well done.

Axe to the back of Arya's head, blackout, credits. Nothing more about Arya until next season.

Aye, Old Balls was viewed by Ned as being honorable.
Not so much. Ned was the one that was charging him with slavery.

I think he just gets tied into the Mereen suckage and as a major reason for the suckage\, so folks dislike him for that. He's a douchy character, but I don't really see a reason to love or hate him either.

I think some of the posters may be referring to Barristan as Old Balls while others are referring to Jorah.

Daario would be a lot less dislike if Dany hadn't been fixated on him.
And GRRM's discriptive imagery writing style was fuel to the fire.
I can't hear Daario without hearing Dany see him caressing the naked women on his sword hilt and wishing he was doing that to her.
And no, I'm not gay

I recall thinking Daario was a douche in my reading, but I cannot remember specifics as to why I felt that way. May have just been his cocky attitude.
