yeah. It is close to the end of SOS.
I would assume episode 10 would have Jon's stand against the Ygritte and Co and ending with Jon standing over her body and "You know nothing, Jon Snow", etc.

hmm. I thought the previews seemed to highlight Ygritte using grey fletching for her arrows. I assumed Jon escapes/gets shot in episode 8 or 9 and the attack in episode 10

Roose basically had most of the northern army killed between Duskendale, Battle of Winterfelll, Red Wedding, and the massacre at the crossing of the Fords. frick that guy.

Agreed. Jon will arrive back to Castle Black and find out that Janos Slynt is in charge, and is arrested. I'm thinking the Battle for Castle Black will be around episode 3 next season, and we'll have some Yigrette's POV for those episodes.
