Forgot to mention this earlier, but I think watching Arya see Robb's headless body being brought out and mocked was the saddest I've ever felt watching this show.
I thought it was the best imagery of the episode, albeit sad. It served a purpose as well - Arya is even more pissed and vengeful now.

I loved that awkward silence when Joffrey was like "My father killed Rhaegar and took the kingdom!" I so wanted someone to say "Uh, yeah.....he didn't."

I guess that's all a blur - I remember Tyrion exorciating Cersei.
Heck, I forgot then - who was acting as The Hand? Cersei (really Queen Regent)? Jamie? I completely forgot.
After Robert's death, Cersei (or Joffrey) named Tywin as the Hand, but he was still fighting the war out somewhere in Westeros. Before Tyrion returned, Cersei was basically the boss.
Tyrion did light into Cersei...it was about ten minutes into season 2, episode 1. Tyrion rolls into the Small Council meeting on Joffrey's nameday, shows the letter from Tywin that Tyrion's now the acting Hand, Cersei freaks, kicks them all out, accuses Tyrion of "tricking father," and then Tyrion lets her know how badly she fricked up by not doing anything to stop Ned's execution.

I'd have to rewatch, but it was almost like she had seen a ghost (or a completely different person than she remembered).

I wonder what would happen if he actually ordered Tywin's death? Do the soldiers just ignore him?
I thought about that last night during that scene. I pictured it like in season one when everyone was in the throne room and Joffrey was ordering people around and whatnot. I came to the conclusion that if that were to happen and Joffrey were to order his soldiers to kill Tywin, they'd glance at Tywin and be like "Nah, brah.." Tywin has kings killed across the continent, has his hand in everything that happens ever basically, and just sent the king to bed...even ordered him to be given medicine to make him sleep. That's legit power right there.

What if he orders Tyrion dead?
Well he already did once, right? And Tyrion is alive (though he was attacked).

"Must be hard for you...to be the disappointing child." Awesomeness.

Ned beheaded Lady
I seem to remember him leaning down to her while she was tied up and stabbing her with a knife/small sword. Don't recall a beheading of that wolf.

Correct. They certainly don't show it...it looked like he just slit her throat: Lady.

I thought he was drawing Ice - sort of a flashback to killing the crow - I could be mistaken and the killing wasn't actually shown.
Cersei wanted the pelt (although that may have been in the book), but didn't get it.
It's obvious my memory, at least back to late Season 1 can't be trusted.

I very much enjoyed the scene with Frey and Bolton bcs they finally answered some questions we've had for a few weeks if not longer. Frey is one dude who is really messed up in the head. Him howling like a wolf especially.

If Bolton is getting the north, and Frey is, ostensibly, offered Riverrun (though he may have to fight to take it) - I asked the other day, how long before Tywin realizes what an ineffective psychopath he's got at the Twins?
Bolton is married to a Frey, now, so he might be eyeing up that critical location? Of course he's about to have more than he can deal with as Warden of the North, but he doesn't really know that yet.

What's Tyrion's job on the small council? I remember him being hand but Tywin took that job back and sits on the council now. When did Tyrion get a permanent seat?

I think he's Master of Coin (formerly Baelish) so he gets a seat

In the Braavos/coin scene Jaqen speaks of offering the names of the people Arya wants to kill to the "Red God".
Is the Red God he speaks of the "Lord of Light" which guides the Red Lady (Melisandre) and brings people back to life?
I never understood who the Red God is.

I'm clearly following reader protocol for this thread - clearly Lady was killed a long f*cking time ago. I can't imagine it is a spoiler in June 2013 - likewise, I have been reading, but I'm still in Season 1 time, book wise.
In this case, my memory is suspect - so I admitted that single fact may have been in the book. (Seriously did they mention the pelt on TV?

Oh yeah forgot about that one. I'm starting the second book so maybe all these small details will come back to me. I'll gtfo this thread when I catch up.
