What was spoiled?? Future names that Dany goes by. Which could allow people to form some conclusion. You're a jackass that acts so smart when it comes to the shows but either lack common sense or just don't give a frick about anyone else.
And I posted no link. And that list was on more than just one page. And for someone who's read the books, I'm sure a lot of things seem like spoilers to you, like the obvious "clues" we were supposed to see in regard to other events. They aren't. I looked at multiple links with multiple name lists, and I still don't know what is so revealing about them.

The Scots-
quote:
The Douglases became so powerful that by the early fifteenth century they were seen as a threat to the stability of the nation. In 1440 the young William Douglas, 6th Earl of Douglas and his brother were invited to dine with the ten year-old King James II of Scotland. The dinner was organised by Sir William Crichton of Clan Crichton. Known as the Black Dinner, a black bull's head, the symbol of death, was brought in. After the dinner the Douglas chiefs were dragged out to Castle Hill, given a mock trial and beheaded. The Clan Douglas then laid siege to Edinburgh Castle. Perceiving the danger, Crichton surrendered the castle to the king who was then given the title of Lord Crichton.

The safest place is the HBO GoT page. It has maps, some history, and rundowns of the families and how the are intertwined. Zero spoilers.
This. Guys, you are endangering yourself by googling questions, looking things up on wiki and going to other message boards. This thread we have right here, is the closest thing to a safehaven you can get. I learned during season one that when I go looking for real answers off this board, I end up learning more than I need to know. It's a rabbithole, don't go there. That is why I stay right in this thread and maybe to the middle ground if I have to have an answer to something or go to HBO's GOT page.

If I have any questions about who someone is or a name, I google "game of thrones ____" and the first link is usually the "game of thrones wikia" page. I've found that it's really good about staying in tune with the show (and any book info is labeled as such). It breaks down each season of the show and what the character (or place, whatever...) is up to in each, and never (that I've found) goes past the latest episode.
However, there is a separate Wiki-type site that does have spoilers, "A Wiki of Ice and Fire." Do not go to that one.
But Game of Thrones Wikia is pretty good for answering things in a topical/nonreader way.

that is how I got burned during season 1. I googled something and it brought me to a page and I started reading and learned more than I needed to know. I don't even remember what it was anymore, maybe something suggesting Ned wasn't in book 2.

Necro time.
Sooooo, my buddy gave me his HBOGO info a couple weeks ago and I started with Season 1 of course.
Just finished this episode. I don't want to start a family, or have anything nice in this world as that was horrible. I don't know if I can muster myself to watch the finale. I'm depleted.
