Can someone refresh my memory on why Bolton hates the Starks all of a sudden?

The middle ground probably knows for sure, but my guess is that he is kinda like littlefinger and just follows the money and whoever has the power.

I didn't realize the song was abot him too. Obviously Cat knew it meant something. How did the non book readers know that song was about Tywin?

it was in the last episode. come on, man. pay attention.

I just realized they are sending Rickon to the Umbers. Are they still loyal?

its interesting seeing him interact with jamie after this. he was probably pretty pissed when he saw what his son did, as he was in talks with tywin.

so i wonder then if tywin knows jamie is alive and on his way home?

Well, Non-readers. You've gotten it. The Westeros equivalent of 9/11. The one thing we tried to keep from you at all costs. Now I will start reading the thread, to quite a bit of my enjoyment.

i don't know how the book had it set up, but the season pretty much foreshadowed that was going to happen

Awesome episode. Finally the action I have been yearning for. I never could stand cat or the new king of the north so I am glad to see them go. The only two remaining characters I would like to see whacked are the crippled stark boy and possibly the dragon lady. In all honesty the only truly boring storyline left is the crippled boy.

yeah that's a loose end and i asked myself the same question. on the one hand, you can't just let that guy live after his people were slaughtered...on the other hand the tully family is a big name to marry into

i'm still shocked he killed cat tully just b/c she's worth a lot of money. i presume this means they're going to burn riverrun down, as traitors to the crown. that would mean they dead

We're any of you really sorry to see the Starks go? I love the political aspects of the show that involve the lannisters and others in kings landing but the Ron stark storyline had, quite frankly, grown boring.

well it was nice to have the "northern war" going as a side story, but my roommate and i were talking before the episode and we both agreed if robb stark died neither of us really cared

i figured for the kind of reaction that had been foretold, arya or tyrion had to die
