I was OK with seeing her naked in the bath opposed to seeing a cpl guys who had less than 10 mins of story get their heads chopped off.

The easiest way for the story to take that turn would be to have the two groups squaring off to fight and as they do a herd of WW comes rolling thru and they have to team up or both be wiped out.

I was thinking #1 and also the story she said about killing lambs without them "seeing the knife", I believed she was fricking him to distract him from the fact she about to "sacrifice" him.

Another thing, Stannis actually made a good case to Davos when they were down in the cell as to why he, Gendry, should be sacrificed for the greater good.

The Stannis/Davos dynamic is among the best on the show, IMO.

I have no clue whats going to happen with Gendry - maybe Davos can talk Stannis into setting him free at some point, he is his nephew after all

Neither do I. They've spent a lot of time on his character development, but as we saw with Ned Stark, GRRM will pretty much axe, literally, anyone at anytime.

Same for Khal Drogo, but on a lesser scale that Lord Stark..

I remember Mel saying something about what she and Gendry could make together, so assuming he blew his wad maybe she'll give birth to another ghost, but this one will be with king's jizz so it might be more powerful.

Whenever she left to go get Gendry, Stannis said something about wanting to pork her and she said his fire was too dim. So I'm thinking he put that first ghost in her, and she just made a more powerful one with Gendry.

So combibe that with the leech ceremony and maybe the ghost will try to kill Robb, Joffrey and the Greyjoy guy. Just spitballing here.

That's probably the best way to do it. Jon Snow could be the one to talk everyone into it, and take on a leadership role with both groups.

I've seen some people ITT that have thrown Tommen's (Jofftard's younger brother) name around.

Thats what the show is all about. Everyone "THINKS" they should be king bcs they have whatever right to the thrown.

So to answer your question, no one really knows. A case could be made for many people.

For fun lets try and name them:

Tommen - Younger brother of latest King Joffrey
Tywin - Could be interim King until Tommen is of age
Bran - No ties to the thrown. Guess Bran could be the new King of the North, if that still exists.
Stannis - Brother was King
Gendry - Robert's bastird (if it comes out that Joff and Tomm aren't Roberts)
Dani(Queen) - Father was King

I think the correct answer is whoever takes Kings Landing by force. Just like Robert did.

Arya is possible - she is becoming a trained killer, and she gets a ton of face time on the show for a child of seemingly little to no consequence.

Exactly. The Starks (mainly Rob) have said they have no intentions on sitting on the thrown. So how would Arya? Marry someone maybe? Lead and army to Kings Landing ala Dani?

If we are talking simply if Joff, Robb, and Baelon kick the bucket soon and Dany hasn't arrived yet (still doesn't have boats).

1. Tommen "Baratheon" - Next in line. Tywin wants no part of the Crown, the free world didn't seem to care about Stannis' claims that he is child of incest (from season 2)
2. Stannis - he has bloodlines and the Lord of Light (but he's not all in). The night is dark and full of terrors.
3. Gendry - Bloodlines. Stannis could die.

Pretenders:

4. Lloras - Sword-swallower, but his house has money. I fear for his family with the next episode being named "Rain of Castmere".
5. Bran- Could be King of the North soon, probably wouldn't want KL
6. Lord Bolton - if feel like they will become a bigger factor

I have a feeling that house would look to make Marg queen before letting this puff run shite.
