I don't think anybody answered me about why they were climbing the wall in the first place...recon? Are they there waiting for the signal or whatever they talked about an episode or two ago? And then they're supposed to do what when they see it..?

I assume to scout Castle Black and find a way to attack it - in the last episode the boss guy was asking how many men they had, etc. The main wildling army is behind the Snow group.

Also, the whole Bran, Rickon, Hodor, Osha, Jojen, his sister plot is really starting to get on my nerves. I'm not even sure why they had it in the episode at all last night...just to show us that Jojen kinda siezes when he's warging?

Yeah I suppose this connection with seizures, Bran and Snow means something - I have no clue what to end, tho.

also, I thought that him saying John Snow was surrounded by enemies was furthering the point that Snow is not a wildling

meh i dont know about that. Could have been when he was captured or also could say that to Jojen of course they are the enemy. Could just be his intrepetation. You could be right just saying I dont think it is for the reason you are thinking

Of course then they separated the poor fat guy all by himself with a lady and her baby.

Was I the only one bored by scene too...didn't need to see Sam singing to Gilly and the kid. At least the dragonstone seemed to be of some importance.

I get kinda annoyed when they seem to waste screen time, since there is SO much to cover and only an hour to do it (ten total for the season).

Well clearly this Sam/Sam's Lady Friend storyline means something in the grand scheme - the scene was just a snoozer, as was the Bran scene with the rabbit skinning.

I thought he said "surrounded by wildlings," not "enemies." It was hard to tell if that was supposed to mean that he's surrounded by enemies or if it was more of a "WTF is John doing?" kind of thing.

Nope

Only purpose for that scene IMO. Unless I just completely missed something.

I thought he said "I saw John Snow. He was on the wrong side of the wall and surrounded by enemies."

I thought he said "I saw John Snow. He was on the wrong side of the wall and surrounded by enemies."

mean yeah would have been cool but I dont think its the biggest deal like some people

like I said arya and hounds reaction was good enough for me

yeah i think the bigger of the two reveals is him speaking and getting to his feet when he's thought to be dead rather than some eye opening one shot while thoros prays. but to each his own.

i know someone said last night was slow on action or whatever but i feel a lot of important shite went down last night. anyone take a shot at explaining or notice the words the red witch said to ayra when she laid a hand on her? that seemed fairly important eh?

So the ship at the end was Littlefinger's. and Sansa was upset she wasnt leaving kings landing. correct?

The general consensus a few pages ago is that it was LF's boat since he told her the other day his boat was ready to go and she fed him some bs about being afraid to leave with him bc it might put him in danger. However, it could also be just any old boat out there and she was just crying in general over learning her new fate.

Thought that warging was "real-time" not flashbacks.

And I am finding out that almost every line in this story has a deeper meaning. Just rewatching scenes from previous seasons is really eye-opening.

True.

Right. Clearly Bran and that group will be important at some point. But that plotline just seems like it's going nowhere and I hope it actually advances soon. Cuz for now it just seems like it's stealing screen time from important scenes/characters.

I took it to mean that Arya was gonna grow up and kill a frick load of people, and that they would meet again in battle in the future.

This.

Is warging the same thing the wildling man does when he sees via the bird?

TIA...

And what is the difference in Bran and the kind from Love Actually warging and the wildling warging while awake.

Yep. this show is huge in forshadowing. Just very subtle in the way they do it.
