So there's this heart made out of stone that Lena Headley posted on Instagram. Don't know a thing about it...but it's supposed to be spoiler-tastic.

Interesting...

Her Instagram is definitely the most entertaining out of all the GoT actors that have them.

While I'm believer of Peter Pan's philosophy that "girls talk too much" & will admit Lollys has her points.

It has to be Walda Bolton. I'm like Roose, perfer girls that make noise in bed and most heavy 'highborn' girls can cook.
Plus I don't want to raise someone else child.

Based on your posts & ?s Yes! After the next 3 episodes you will.

Not sure which of 3 will put you over the top.
Prior to our nation's birthday, you will request a boiled leather reading. It is known.

As someone who didn't read the books till last year/during season 3, the books are still fun to read. AGoT/Season 1 were basically identical, and ACoK was where it started to deviate. Either way, I view the books and the show as complements to each other; my show experience has been enhanced by reading the books, and reading the books has been enhanced by watching the show.

Well about 3 weeks ago I got spoiled on how this season presumably ends. I know what's coming with at least one of the major plot lines of the season though not sure about the details behind it. I wanna read the books just to prevent that kind of shite from happening again.

what that tells me is that Hodors and bookreaders worldwide have the same struggles.
Also people who read the books need not to call minor things "spoilers". Not sure if anything can be taken from that pic

Watching the show first then going through the first half of the first book was an interesting experience. Got backstory and it seems that a character I would've loved to see was Arthur Dayne. That he was killed by Ned makes the show original fight between Jamie all the more realistic. Given how Jamie looked up to him as much as he does Barristan.

It's those bits of story that it just becomes implausible to have in the show. But it's what makes the books their own thing.

Plus for some reason I figured the opening scene beyond the wall would be more similar than it wound up being.

FAWK FAWK FAWK FAWK FAWWWWWWKKKK!!!!

I know what heart of stone or stone heart means now! DAMN MY CURIOSITY!

Ser Arthur Dayne was a serious badass. Jaime, Ned, and Barristan all had nothing but good things to say about him...that's how you know he was great; he was honorable and a great knight/had great fighting abilities at the same time.

"I learned from Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning, who could have slain all five of you with his left hand while he was taking a piss with the right."

Jaime Lannister to the 5 members of the King's Guard after the Purple Wedding.

Really want a Roberts Rebellion movie/miniseries just so I can see him in action with Dawn.

quote:

“And now it begins,” said Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning. He unsheathed Dawn and held it with both hands. The blade was pale as milkglass, alive with light. “No,” Ned said with sadness in his voice. “Now it ends.”

Get chills reading that.

Where the Seven Kingdoms (ten realms) stand at now.

1 -Riverlands - (Lannister Loyal) Lord Paramount of the Trident - Baelish (without army) The riverlands have changed hands more than any other region due to being crossroads of most lands. Were held by the Iron Isles during the Conquest. The Tullys were upjumped to lords. Then given to Petyr Baelish.

2 - The North -(Lannister Loyal) Currently no Lord Paramount. Intentions were for it to go to House Lannister with Tyrion and Sansa. Held since time was recorded by the Starks who are almost wiped out. Warden of the North is currently Roose Bolton, who was granted this postion by Joffrey (Tywinn)

3 - The West - Lannister Homeland. Held by Tywin Lannister who has no heir that can legally take the household. Lord Paramount of the West Tywinn Lannister.

4 - The Reach - (Lannister Loyal)Lord Paramount Mace Tyrell. Held by the Tyrells since the conquest, a land with the most food in Westeros, and a lot of money. Very large army and land area. Also contains Largest city and Citadel of the Maesters.

5 - The Iron Islands - In Open Rebellion. Held by house Greyjoy of Pike since Lord Harren's death and loss of Riverlands territory. They are viking like and survive by pillaging and stealing.
King of the Iron Islands Balon Greyjoy

6 - The Eyrie - (Neutral) Long held by House Arryn, Lyssa Arryn the current regent and protector/mother of Robin Arryn just died. Robin Arryn is the Lord Paramount of the Vale of Arryn. Though Petyr Baelish was married to Lyssa at time of her death.

7 - Dorne - (Neutral) Prince of Dorne Doran Martell. Long Held by House Martell, the Dornish are descendants of the Rhoynar who came from Essos like the Andals and First men before them. They hold the title "prince" as they were never conquered but married into the Targareyn household and kingdom. Also they allow women to hold titles in Dorne.

8 - The Stormlands (In rebellion but mostly subdued) Lord Of the Stormlands and Dragonstone rightful king by birthright Stannis Baratheon. This was the long time seat of House Baratheon. After Robert's Rebellion it was held by Renly and passed to Stannis after his death, by Stannis. This land like the West sees very little screen or page time.

9 - Dragonstone ( see above) Seat of House Targareyen. Lost in Robert's Rebellion and given to Stannis is uses it as his castle. Hass very little resources and few lesser lords.

10 - The Crown Lands - (Lannister Loyal) This is the land belonging directly to the crown. Held By the bastard Tommen Baratheon who was born of Incest to Cersei and Jammie Lannister. A bastard can not hold titles, so that alone makes the "Lannister-Baratheon" claim to the throne false. But no one has been able to take it away from them either.
This claim launched the war of the five Kings.
Which is now down to only three.

King Stannis
King Balon
King Tommen (replacing King Joffrey)

I believe that the show went in a different direction with regard to the Riverlands. I'm pretty sure last Sunday's episode said the Lord Frey is the new lord of the Riverlands.

Yeah, he's still ruling the Riverlands in name at least.
