Because i don't want to know what will happen next on the show. It's fun to be a hodor. Plus if i read the whole book, i can't post in the middle ground or hodor thread.

what about people like iluv and Fr33. They both have read some books, but not all. There are not true hodors, nor are they really full readers.
How will the GOTchicken rule affect people like them?
Where is the list drawn?
If you read GOT and ACOK you are okay, but if you read ASOS you are not allowed?

If I were them I'd probably just stay here in the Middle Ground thread. Someone is liable to bitch about it and it's probably not worth getting banned over.

The way the non-readers want it is that if you've read any of the books even only up to the point in the show you shouldn't post in that thread...but honestly who cares? Do what you want.

Yeah, got banned temporarily last year for accidentally posting in one. I think there should be some sort of strike policy at lease.

Only stuff that's been revealed on the show or that the show has passed (i.e. Ned's Tower of Joy dream).
I generally use the rule of if I have to ask myself whether it'd be spoilery then it probably is.

they flip out if a reader posts one thing. You have posted int he crackpot thread so you are sullied now.
All it takes is for one reader to flip out like :
then they will keep replying and then a couple of pages later they are all swearing that spoilers were posted.
