Also explain to me what middle ground is in y'all's terms. Like is there stuff that's gonna happen in this season talked about here before it happens??

I'll let others chime in since it isn't my thread, but it seems as though it is a place to discuss what is currently going on in the show, and allow for background information, character definitions, location explanations but not spoilers.
i.e. a place where the definition of "valar morghulis" can be clarified with a bunch of panties getting in a bundle.

No, unless someone is a dick and intentionally spoils something, there should be no discussion of anything before it happens on the show.
I hope.
eta: Tiger in NY gave a good explanation.

oh well awesome if thats the case
speaking of this, I thought it ment that all men should die and horable dealth.. and the chick said we are not men. thats what i was confused about
anyway i really think Dany knows/knew what that guy was saying

This is my understanding. No "Future" spoilers.
(which really means no spoilers, just not how it's interprested in the other thread)

It simply means "all men must die" and there is a response that means "all men must serve".

What no one considered is that it's so obvious Locke (the guy who chopped off his hand) knew which hand he was. He's one of the most famous swordsmen alive, if a random farmer in the middle of nowhere saw him fight in a tourney before don't you think another warrior would know what his sword hand is. It'd be like a Saints fan not knowing which arm Brees throws with.

Dude the whole which hand thing killed me
I was like you should really be thinking about how tywin will react now that both his sons are "crippled". Hes a proud man and now hows to cripples as sons. ( if tywin ever sees Jaime again) and Rob wont want to tell him bc Jaime is a huge bargaining chip

I wanted to post this as part of the non-reader thread, but it is better discussed here. Jaime Lannister is maybe the most famous swordsman in the land. Not a person in Westeros doesn't know what hand he uses.

It just baffled me that it was the most pressing thing to them
It goes along with what ive tried to push to them.. to open your minds and really start thinking about the whole instead of focusing on such small things...
I just want to be like yall need to smoke and watch the 8 and 9 showing. Change the way you will see everything

They would see all the backroom deals going on then...

Seriously me and my roommate smoked so much and watched them so many times we came up some some crazy theories. That still could happen haha. Like some shite that still works

I've been wondering this too. I'm pretty sure that Jaime is Tywin's favorite child; so he's essentially useless now. I'm curious as to how Tywin and Cersei will react. I don't see Cersei treating him too well either.

He is def the favorite.
And I text my friend this so might as well put it here
Cersei isn't gonna want that meat without a fork

as soon as the other thread is back to normal another agro illeterate gets all pissy and starts the argument over again.
Is there anyway to give them a thread and not have one person on Hugo's List post?

Not to mention that they had been sitting on the bridge/riverbank when Jamie was sword fighting with Brien.

Me too. I had not read the books at that point, but it was just such a cool scene.

i always wanted to ask this question to book readers and this seems like a good place to do so. whenever i read a book i usually have to picture a character and i either make up how they would look or use an actor/actress i think would play them. since many of you had pretty distinct pictures in your minds.....
who's in your top 5 best castings in the show and who are your top 5 worst? have they done a good job overall of bringing those characters on pages to the screen?
