This thread looks to be a success in content and execution. Congrats.

I serve the board. All thanks go to the board members who have performed admirably in this thread.

yep...I've read 4.5 of the books and saw some stuff even beyond my scope so tread lightly. The same stuff has been reposted here.
beyond scope =/= spoilers.
A lot of the art was hypothetical stuff from the past (Rhaegar v Robert, Childern of the Forest, etc) the book readers have been doing a good job of segregating actual spoilers. There is a ton of info based on just flashbacks and stories from the books. None of which would be a spoiler.
I think that term is way overused here.

Nonreaders can hopefully be secure in knowing that if something that is at all spoilery of future events gets posted, I or another book reader will call the poster out on it and ask them to edit. But I dont believe that's been necessary yet, shockingly.
If any nonreader is uncomfortable with that, they can simply not come in this thread and wait for the next nonreader thread which will be along in the next day or two. (This week's nonreader thread was anchored for some reason)

Yeah, I'm seriously appreciative of you and the other posters in making it cool. Sorry for being a dick earlier, but I thought other people were deliberately being dicks.

howd you make the theme? just in options? ive never messed around with google chrome themes but it it looks tight Id like to do something like that
I want to say it was through Google in just a creator where you add the pic and choose the window colors from what they have. I'll have to look and see when I'm on my computer again.
ETA: This is what I used

I think this thread is great but I was cautioning people to tread lightly in the art thread.

Anyone know when the Book Readers and the Hodor 5-poster threads will be posted for tomorrow? I know this one is a season long thread.

I was hoping someone would start them soon. I would start it, but I started the last two, and just don't want anyone thinking I like the glory of having 40 page threads. (yes some people think like that, lol)
I'm ready to discuss some Jon and Ygritte action.

I was reading the lunch thread the other day and Maximus was ranting to his boy Lester, about how all the readers talk about wanting to spoil to show for the non-readers. How our threads are just about messing with them. I think that is bullshite and he was just stirring the pot.
This reader v non-reader stuff should die out. But what makes it worse is the non-participants making it out to be more than it is.

The reader v non reader stuff dies out when the non readers are left alone. Ya'll hold the ability to end it.

You were left alone last week, and you guys still slipped out and that is why your thread was anchored.
Someone on Hugo's list posts and it spirals out of control.
You will not, can not, and never will have a thread that excludes a group without people in that group wanting to post. I can't explain why people feel the need to, but people hate being excluded.
Another reason is, you are the third group of illiterates. The first two (season 1 and 2) gave more interest in back story, talked about HBO extras, previews etc. You guys have it so strict, that if it wasn't on a 8pm central on HBO east, then it can't be talked about here. People watch it on HBOgo and mention the info given to them, and they get bitched at.
People are so worried about spoilers that they are flipping out. No one is going to spoil the show. Just sit back, relax and lets all enjoy one of the greatest shows on TV.

Agreed. This season has become really dramatic with the witch hunt. The non reader thread last year was much more enjoyable. I think some of it can be attributed to people marathoning both seasons over the past year and are just tuning into GoT season 3 now as it comes on TV (therefore some of the viewers weren't viewers at this point last year).

bullshite. I posted something said 3 fricking times during the episode, and I still got bitched out. Y'all are way too paranoid and are priding yourself in ignorance of basic facts in the series.
