I was a non-reader and really enjoyed the first 2 seasons of TV, but once I started reading, I could not put the books down. Probably read the whole series in a month
Same thing with me. And I don't ever even really read for fun. I cut through those suckers like knife through butter.

I didn't read until after I watched Season 1. I had the intention of just reading as the show went. I knocked the books out in a few weeks after I started reading the first one.

To be completely honest, I started when the Crackpot thread first showed up. I really wanted to get in on the theories and discussions so I decided to plough through all 5 books so I could start posting in that thread. CottonWasKing is single-handedly responsible for me being a Varys instead of a Hodor.

I've tried so hard to but I just don't have the time to get through that much reading material.

Started reading in November. Finished the series by the first episode this season. And did it all by just reading exclusively on the shitter. Everyone needs to make time for the toilet, so take advantage of it!

When you think shite, think of Game of Thrones.

Normally that's when I read TD
I guess I will change to GoT and say screw you guys hahaha
A problem I've had was like it was really hard to push through the first book since I watched the first season like 5 times. It just got boring but every once in awhile had some good stuff in it not in the show. Book 2 I started it kinda the same thing then just got really busy and haven't read in awhile

You just need more fiber with your GoT.

No lie: I regularly take ProBiotic. Erin Andrews is just so convincing. That's probably what kept my movements so regular, allowing me to get through all 5.

Anybody know what's up with the Mountain right now in TV land?
Season 1 Mountain was the shite. Dude was a straight up horse-decapitation machine.
Season 2 Mountain was recast and looked like an out of proportion string bean. With about as much talent for acting.
Season 3 Mountain has not been seen and may not be seen until season 4? Has he been recast again? Will the dude who played him in season 1 return?
Because the way I see it, there's a big happening on schedule coming up, and two things are needed: build up and an actor who can get the job done. Anybody have any info?

The Mountain is murdering, burning, and raping right now somewhere in central Westeros.
Robb Stark berated E. Tulley last week for foiling his plan to capture and kill Gregor Clegane.

He was in the first episode of season 3. I believe he is holding down Harrenhal right now.

Mountain hasn't been seen. Hes abandoned Harenhall because Edmure's army was closing in (still think this is crap) and Roose Bolton now holds harrenhall

Actually Roose Bolton is holding down Harrenhal right now, it was mentioned last episode

I hope he gets recast, I didn't like the skinny dude who played him in harrenhall. You'd have to think of they liked the actor playing him they would have somehow managed to get him a scene or two.

Hell they said Ros was only supposed to be in one scene and look where she is now.

Thanks! I remember him telling Jon the sword was supposed to be his son's but I just didn't put it together who the son was until I read the book. Appreciate the info!

She's probably screwing one of the producers.
