Poo or no poo flung on her?
Posted on 6/18/16 at 10:53 pm to Hu_Flung_Pu
the only poo is the poo that comes out of her mouth everytime she talks

I really like the theory and it has a lot of merit. Let's say Lyanna was raped by Robert. She runs away and gets with Rhaegar, who promises to protect her. She has the kid and is hiding in the Tower. She finds out Rhaegar is killed and has to go back to Robert, so she commits suicide. Ned finds her as she is dying. She asks him to keep Jon's lineage a secret. So he does. It all kind of fits. Jon looks like a Baratheon and it would be a total twist/shock everybody. I like it better than the other theory.
And we would still have R+L=J
Posted on 6/18/16 at 11:01 pm to Errerrerrwere
The irony in that stupid theory is that Robert would have liked for this to have been true.
Plus I feel pretty damn confident that Robert wasn't around Lyanna within the year Jon was born.

no, it really doesnt.

SHe was already betrothed to robert. doesnt really make sense for him to rape her

She kills herself and deprives her child of a mother, acceptance of the country, and a throne birthright for a current regime, just because she doesnt like robert? what a self bitch

Ned takes his best friends son and claims it as his own bastard and again deprive him of being the prince of the goddamn country?!! Neds a fricking dick too in this scenario

no it doesnt

Hes the most stark looking stark child. Does every person in the world with black hair have baratheon ties? guess arya and robb are Roberts too.

Would be a complete molestation to everything GRRM has written in his books in order to get a cheap "wow" moment. Thats some HIMYM shite, not game of thrones

Then you do not know what you are talking about

Yeah, in the books, he is pretty repeatably mentioned as being the most Stark-like of the Stark children, save Arya who is noted for being Lyanna reborn and has a close connection with Jon compared to the other Starks.

LF will save Jon's arse at Bastard Bowl, Sansa will become Queen of the North because Jon is a Bastard
LF won't reveal his royal decree because that is way too overt a move for him, it would put him in the outs with the Starks and he isn't ready to take more power for himself yet. He is still putting his pieces in place and having Sansa rule the North aligns with his long game of destroying the Lannisters, Tyrells and the Iron Throne to claim the seven kingdoms for himself. He wants the North on his side for the bigger prize

Nope he wouldn't considering he never had LF sell Sansa to Ramsay fricking Snow in the first place
It might be the single worst break from the books-- LF's one real fatal weakness in the books is his obsession with Cat and then Sansa, Book LF wouldn't trade Sansa for anything less than a clear shot at his ultimate goal.
Show LF OTOH is going to die because he doesn't realize the game has changed with magic coming back.

He'll save Sansa's arse. I think once LF has Sansa in his paws again, he'll have his army turn on Jon's. Jon will survive and turn back North to the Wall. Granted I think LF's betrayal will be in Episode 10, not the next one.
Posted on 6/18/16 at 11:46 pm to OMLandshark
I am unconvinced LF is ready to turn heel just yet. I think he will remain a hero and side with the Starks until the time is right to make his move

Landshark has a point on this--LF can't leave Jon alive simply because he's a bastard. Being g a bastard didn't stop him from being elected Lord Commander at an absurdly young age, being the arguably most distinguished (living) military commander, being viewed as almost a cult figure thanks to going Jesus or being a natural leader via charisma and example-- he's LF's worst nightmare a natural fit for the Iron Throne who apparently can't die.
LF has to either kill Jon, or try and co-opt him as his candidate for the throne, ignoring him isn't an option at this point.
Posted on 6/18/16 at 11:52 pm to montanagator
I've been saying it all season with Jon being a huge threat to LF's endgame plans, but not many are taking these points seriously.

Being a bastard had nothing to do with being elected LC. And now that I'm thinking about it being a bastard shouldn't worry LF at all. Who's going to legitimize him?

He's leading an army of 3,000 Wildlings. And he's next in line behind Sansa to inherit Winterfell (so long as Arya stays out of the picture). Yes, LF will want him removed.
Posted on 6/19/16 at 12:03 am to OMLandshark
He's a bastard he can't ever inherit land
Posted on 6/19/16 at 12:25 am to montanagator
LF wins through intrigue and manipulation, not overt violence. I just don't think he is ready to make a move on Jon yet.
Posted on 6/19/16 at 12:27 am to OMLandshark
Dude, you forget about Bran and Rickon
Sansa is third on the Stark depth chart, Arya is fourth

LF has his army. He's entered his endgame. He no longer has to answer to anyone truly.

I am not sure if there is any real mechanism for Jon to be legitimized. Tommen won't do it and if he is dead, who inherits the Throne? Cersei? She certainly wouldn't do it
If Dany comes back, takes the Seven Kingdoms and defeats the WW, does she legitmize him and marry him? How does Jon's true lineage get confirmed? Bran can reveal his lineage if the theories are correct but can it be confirmed?

Personally I think there is a scroll that either Howland Reed has or is in Lyanna's grave that proves Jon's lineage.
