Well, with the Tyrion/Sansa match already set, there is no need for Loras to the KG (or Willas for that matter).

I'd bet that the Tyrells want to keep the Lannisters out of their lands so Loras to the KG instead of marrying Cersei still makes sense. The Tyrells and Lannisters are in a sort of Cold War of sorts. All of their battles are done behind closed doors with false friendly meetings in public. The show still seems to show the covert struggle between the two houses.

So guessing Shireen will somehow bring Davos the note from the wall. I think davos is cell bound the rest of the season unless Mel brings back Gendry and he has to step up. Not sure how Mel will get Gendry to dragon stone since he seems happy with the brotherhood

I absolutely love any scene with Tywin.

Tyrion walks in, happy about him saving the kingdom money. Tywin blows him off about, further driving the wedge between the two.

Cersei has her devious smirk going when Tywin is laying out his plan to marry Sansa/Tyrion.

Then Tywin drops the bomb on Cersei about marrying gay knight. cersei is immediately crushed.

Tywin really is the smartest and most powerful player in the game.

Will someone catch me back up on Davos? I can't remember what he does from this point on. Same with Gendry.

Ugghhh, how did that slip my mind? Yes.

So, Joff will be coerced by Cersei to name him to the KG so she doesn't have to marry him, correct?

Tywin ain't gonna like that shite.

Yes, except for the fact that the Tyrell's cannot appoint the KG. Do they get Marg to convince Joff to appoint Loras? Or does Cersei convince him?

If you read other books outside of ASOIAF, there are mentions of the fact that Highgarden and Casterly Rock have been enemies for 100s of years. I know it was mentioned in the Egg & Dunk books.

Davos convinces Stannis that he needs to stop fighting the crown and save the kingdom.

I'm assuming it'll be a mutual agreement since Ceresi wants no part of Loras and vice versa. Right under Tywin's nose. Joffrey will likely listen to his mother in this case.

Littlefinger orchestrates Loras to the KG. Mace asks Loras to accept the appointment.

I think we should careful about who we call out for being closet readers. I have read several professional reviews of the episode by non-readers, Greenwald, Sepinwall etc, and they reference the possibility of Tyrion plotting to kill Tywin and speculate about Tywin moving chess pieces around to secure Robbs downfall. It really isn't that far of a stretch.

Why haven't they addressed the entire Stark family as being wargs? The dire wolves are some of the coolest things in GoT and it would make the RW and what happens to Grey Wind all the more significant.

Plus we'd get to see Nymeria and her pack wreck shite on people.

After watching the show, it's not hard to put all that together.

Once you take yourself out of the quest storyline mentality GRRM is easier to figure out.

They've pretty much stated Bran is a warg. Other than that no one else was really revealed as a warg by this point in the story.

i think as they show Bran begin to unleash his abilities and start to master them, we'll see the same introductions of warging with Arya and Jon

but i doubt there's much reference to it before the RW

But as a reader you knew at this point that they were atleast connected in their dreams.

Yeah, but all it takes is one dream to make the connection in the show and I have a feeling they are saving that reveal for a special moment, like when Nymeria find Cat in the river.

I think they're taking it slow with the magical powers stuff in the show because it would be overwhelming if they threw it all out there at once.

Keeping as much realism allows the audience to relate better to the characters and prevents it from becoming cheesy and stupid like charmed/true blood.

They only bring the magic stuff in when it's absolutely essential to the story.

Honestly, it was obvious from just watching the first season that Tyrion would kill Tywin. I accurately guessed the reason while reading the book, in that Tysha was exactly who she said she was, and Tyrion would kill him over it.

Thats a good point. I watched the first two seasons before reading the books and the whole white walker zombie thing put me off a little bit.

Too many people have such bad stigmas about high fantasy
