Gareth Edwards directed the only SW feature in the Disney era that everyone likes.

Because they had to do major reshoots to salvage the film.

They had to bring in Tony Gilroy to save it. He added the badass Darth Vader finale. Who knows how much Edwards should get credit for.

The last 30 minutes of Rogue One are retarded.

I don't know if the rest of the movie makes up for it.

It's not TLJ for sure, but it's not "everyone" liked it.

It's not a fail. And at this point in the Star Wars saga that's a remarkable achievement.

Because the vast majority of the film had to be re-shot for whatever reason. As someone mentioned earlier, who knows how much of that film is actually that of Gareth Edwards?

Rogue One isn’t terrible but it’s not any kind of good movie

It’s easily the best of the 5 Disney films. Anyone who has a contrary opinion is someone whose opinions on film I’ll never take seriously again.

That’s still doesn’t make it good.

I may rank TFA slightly over rogue one, but neither were good.

I would argue Rogue One is the worst of the Disney movies by a wide margin

I would argue this opinion is the worst of the ones shared regarding this film by a wide margin
