That was a great comment by Jaime. Loved his interactions with Brienne last night.

Thoros and anguy's exchange about hot pie cracked me up
Anguy - "The whole countryside is starving and look at this one"
Thoros - "maybe he's why they're starving"

Belle's wisdom has swayed me. I will not even make the slightest reference to the b-word in here. No spoilers from me, no sir.
Of course, I haven't posted any in the past, but whatever.

but tell the non readers to not ask questions here.
WTF. It's our thread!! We want to talk about the show with other non-readers. Not you trollface bookworms. I want to ask questions and make comments with people who also want to make guesses as to what is going on OR what THEY think is going on. GET OUT OF OUR THREAD AND DIE IN A FIRE.

I've only seen the show and I thought the comment was harmless, FWIW. It's clear the kid is important. Even if all he does is guide Bran further on the road to warg-dom that's pretty huge and they'd want to cast someone with good chemistry with the actor that plays Bran.
I have a hunch he's more than that, though, because some of his comments about the three-eyed raven hint at something deeper. Same thing for Osha, she clearly knows more than she's letting on and more than likely has a prominent role still to play. But that's just what I've inferred.

I doubt he's saying not to ask questions about the show, just don't explicitly ask a question that are targeted at the book readers. Similarly, book readers should not answer any show questions with any info that could even remotely considered from outside the show.
I'm confident that with a little common sense and cooperation the book nerds and show nerds can coexist.

He's talking about the "can someone tell me....." and then people turning around and blaming a book reader for answering a question that was asked by a non-reader. It's why Psych started a separate thread for just that to help avoid that.

Continuing to bring this up again and again and again and again and AGAIN is just as harmful to this thread as anything the book readers have done.
Y'all can't talk about the tv show for bitching at us for talking about the tv show.

Is this how the thread is every week? Serious question. This is my first week with it and, uh, I'm kinda disappointed.
Posted on 4/8/13 at 9:40 pm to BluegrassBelle
I'll bump that thread I guess.

Idk I don't hang around in these too much but this is ridiculous.
If viewers want to talk about the show then talk about the show and make use of the RA button. Y'all are doing nothing but making it harder to actually talk about the show

It's actually sitting just a couple posts below so you don't need to. It'd probably be helpful if someone links it in the non-reader OPs now.

I saw that as I went to bump it, but responded to the last post anyway with a little reminder of my aspirational goals regarding the way questions are answered (I.e., with as few spoilers as possible).

I think the book readers are the only ones discussing the actual show events at this point, which is sad.
Posted on 4/8/13 at 9:48 pm to PsychTiger
Where? All I see is bitching...
Posted on 4/8/13 at 9:49 pm to Matisyeezy
yes. it starts off with us nonreaders trying to talk to each other then the book people come in here, and take over and then we end up at this point like the last 2-3 pages, where it's only book readers posting in our thread making stupid jokes. Whatever I'm done.

Why do you think that is? People who just want to discuss the show instead of watching you figs jerk each other off have learned to avoid even the non-spoiler threads. Good work.
I don't understand why the frick y'all can't just stick to the book reader threads. How the frick you people can be obsessed enough to discuss Game of Thrones all day on multiple threads is beyond me.

It really is.
We can talk about the show spoiler free but all they can do is sit around and scream "ERMAGERD SPOILERZ"
Posted on 4/8/13 at 9:50 pm to CottonWasKing
We can't talk about the show when you readers are in here. That's all there is to it.
