Queen of Thorns is spot on. Love her as much on TV as I did in the book.

That was a damn good scene for catelyn

I read the analysis of tonight's episode from reviewers that have seen it and apparently Catelyn has a monologue about Jon Snow that deviates dramatically from the book. One reviewer called it outright character assassination .
I see no way that this deviates from the book. She never wished him dead, but she hated what he reminded her of, all the same.

I think he exaggerated but there's no way Book Cat would have said that.

Well great. My online stream went dead and now none of the ones I had work.

And I'm not saying it bothers me, I've come to terms with the separate mediums.

You think book Cat would have killed Jon?

Wah wah, big deal on the scene with Cat. Character assassination? All they did was reinforce to TV viewers that she never loved Jon Snow.

Thoughts
Have to say that I'm disappointed by the look of the Bastard. Thought he'd look like evil incarnate in the opposite way Joffrey did. Plus I certainly thought his hair would be much longer and matted. I'll reserve judgement though until they allow us to see the monster underneath.
They got the dialog of the Queen of Thorns right, but I think she doesn't quite look or sound right. Also I doubt incredibly Cat would have ever, ever asked for Jon to be legitimized under any circumstances. Super nitpicky here though.
Now to things they got right: Arya and the Brotherhood was pretty great and I don't mind how they're compacting her story. I was pumped to see the Hound, and definitely pumped we got into the Dreadfort. Jojen and Meera were completely spot on and just about how I imagined them.
I really liked this episode. Alot better than the previous one. Wish they could have had a Tyrion and Tywin argument in there, but there's plenty more time for that.

Was he in this episode? I got the impression that those were just his henchmen.

I agree but take it in context. She wished him dead, then believed she was the reason he was dying. The dialogue showed us how compassionate of a person she can be when all of her jealousy and bitterness is peeled away.
