I tried to stay away, but they are such little butt hurt pansies, it's difficult. If you post anything, even if its just chatting with a friend, and has nothing to do with plotlines or story they get their panties in a bunch. You could say ooh that slave translator was hot huh guys? And they're response would be er meh gerd ged out reader nerd!

The great Nelson Mandela's life work of abolishing Apartheid is single handedly being undone on Tigerdroppings.

I know a lot of you are just posting there out of principle and aren't even messing with them, though a few like OML are messing with them big time. The problem is, they don't seem to differentiate between the trolls like OML and those of you who have been harmless, they just want all readers gone. Is their position extreme and overly paranoid"? Yes. But even posting harmless stuff there just causes too much panic and disrupts show discussion. I believe just lurking their thread while they throw about their crazy theories would be more fun than fighting with them, but maybe that's just me.
I say let them be and just stay in this thread or the middle ground thread. There have been a few nonreaders come in there and the discussion has been good for the most part. Plus, virtually no bitching because it is understood readers are there and may post book related knowledge, just not any big sopilers.

The problem is I have friends and other posters I talk to frequently in there and if I want to post or reply to them harmlessly I shouldn't be chastised for it.

While I get why you feel that way, I promise you, I want to post in there more than you do. But its like arguing with a kitchen chair. Its just not going to work. They're gripped with mass hysteria. Just leave them be and let them enjoy their own way of doing things, however silly it may be. Its just not worth all of the fighting.

And accidentally "clicked" on this thread my arse.
FalseProphet (yes I included your name so you can keep joxying) is just stirring up shite instead of letting it be. Why even click on this thread and drag OUR conversation from THE BOOK READER THREAD over there unless you want some drama.
ETA: Jon gets stabbed by the Night's Watch. Robb and Catelyn die at the Frey wedding. Cat returns as the Undead Lady Stoneheart. Joffrey dies from poisoning. Just for good measure.

My one post Sunday night showing them that even HBO plays "spoiler" by providing The Blackfish's real name in their interactive guide while you watch the episode had some people all pissy.

FalseProphet is getting to be almost as bad as JB Bama. Maybe worse due to the higher frequency of posts.
Coco, we're cool. Don't want to get banned.

I got seasons I and II of ROME on DVD from SAMS club........I think they were $10 or 20$ each......can't really remember.
Excellent purchase. I love that series. HBO should pick it back up.

The non-booker readers should really watch those but I am not posting them in fear of Coco having a heart attack.
I almost started a thread for them, as any casual fan should see them. Especially the ones that set up the Families or the backstories.

I think Hugo already did, but they should just be posted in the middle-ground thread. The sensible ones know where they can go to find the info if they want it.
