Tell me a series of books or movies that didn't catch shite the more popular they became...
Harry Potter
The Avengers
The fast and the furious(lol)
Breaking Bad
How many series have maintained the same quality through 8 seasons?

Umm are we forgetting Ramsey had bodies and shite pulled from the crypts and set on fire in the field of battle before the BoB?

get that people are upset that show doesn't seem to have "intelligent dialogue" as much and think there have been a lot of dumb-it-down moments for the audience, but Jon telling Dany the truth is a poor example to criticize. He absolutely needed to explain that whole ordeal in blunt detail. It's not like Dany has access to Google and would know what happened at the Tower of Joy. Comparing that to Jaime and Brann's interaction is apples and oranges.
Don't get in the way of the circle jerk.

I read the books but I don’t recall if they said the tombs had magic that keeps WWs out. I would think if Bran the builder made the wall, then he had the common sense to build the crypts with magic too so that his own fam could never be turned against him.

I’m hoping the crypts are sealed and the entrance is protected by magic like the weirwood tree entrance was that bran went into. Like maybe they seal them up like vampire crypts.
It’s going to be a fricking killbox down there. Why else would Arya be frantically running down there in the preview unless he woke them up. That or they get all the way down there from the outside.
Bye bye Varys and little brave soup girl, something will happen so that Tyrion isn’t down there when the slaughter starts.

This episode will be appreciated more when it’s all over with. People are just too impatient
I agree. This was a goodbye episode. The song really touched on that.
People you never want to leave are leaving forever next episode and it’s gonna hurt

You sure those weren’t bodies from the dungeons where his dogs were killing people?

Harry Potter was the only one I could find that didn't catch undue criticism. I think most of that is because the viewers grew up with the show, so they weren't so rigid.
Breaking Bad, on the other hand, absolutely caught shite towards the end. Undeserved, IMO, but shite nonetheless.

I know when I write, words spill out, or they don’t.
And if they don’t, then my mind is working away in the background, and eventually, it will come up with a solution.
He admittedly has to bring together a lot of characters and a lot of plot points. And that requires a pretty decent brain, it’s a lot to reconcile.
But the lack of any visible progress, and the weakness of the last books, makes me hugely skeptical.

Yep. Unforgivable. They literally could’ve done it word for word. It is so incredibly written and they botched it in the worst way

Yeah, that was bad and everyone agrees. All of it. The butchered dialogue. The two swords. The fight scene in general.
Okay I’m mad now.

I’d like to reread some of the posts made here by folks who thought the last season “wasn’t going anywhere”

Go watch the vid on YouTube of Roy Dotrice reading from the audiobook with the artwork overlaid. Gives me goosebumps every time
