It's been in every episode when it wasn't included. I haven't read the spoilers (I know you have) but I have a hard time believing we won't see the Wall this season or it coming down.

I mean, we know we see the wall because it's in the trailer

Thank Jesus. I was so over that and Bravos.

Maybe Highgarden and Casterly Rock?

I'm not mentioning the Reddit spoilers at all in here. I'm just curious what locations will be included in the credits this time; especially since Sam and Jon haven't been at the Wall in a while and there's barely any Night's Watch men other than Edd that we know as characters who aren't extras.

I am suspicious of some of yall, especially since one has been talked matter of factly twice.

I remember last season I went to town on the theory that LF was going to come save the Battle of the Bastards only for him to betray Jon's army once he had Sansa in his paws, and I think the blind dismissal of some of you may have had something to do with the spoilers....

In all of my rewatches I FF through the opening credits so I don't remember. Don't they withhold some new locations (at least the first time it's new) as to not spoil what happens there?

I dont think we ever see casterly rock in the show.

Better left to the imagination. Pictures wont do it justice, and no one really has a reason to go there.

Fair enough.

I do expect the final location shown will be Oldtown though after the Wall.

This is an inverse for me. I suspect that we'll see it on the show but never in the books.

Unless they decide to give us a Daario scene over in Essos...but that would go in the same category as Missandei and Greyworm filler in that they really shouldn't waste time showing more of that shite with 13 episodes left.

It's supposed to look like the rock of Gibraltar iirc. And the castle is entirely carved into a mountain. I dont think they can replicate that easily.

Plus no gold in the mines. I do hope we see it and Storms End since they are ancient era castles over 10,000 years old.

This ridiculously inverse for me. I think we will see Casterly Rock in the show and not in the books. I think we will see Storm's End in the books but not in the show. I'm guessing Tyrion captures Casterly Rock this season, but I don't see where Tyrion will have the time in the books, provided the Prince of Whales manages to live that long.

Storm's End though I'm guessing will be Aegon's base to conquering King's Landing, which is why we'll get further details on it. I don't see any reason why the show would go there, and same reason I don't see why the books would go to Casterly Rock.

OK I didn't know anyone possessed the self discipline to not watch the trailers :).

I removed my post in case anyone else hasn't either.

I did last year, I think I watched the first one once and then purged it. This year I'm mostly saying "frick it" while trying to avoid spoilers save for direct releases from the crew.

If they wanted to just throw a lot of money at it via CGI or if they found a perfect location to shoot, Oldtown could be absolutely gorgeous.

But to be honest, I'll be very happy even if they just mostly stick to the inside of the Citadel.

I wouldn't be able to stand it.

This is my thought, nothing to do with any spoilers or the trailer itself, but I think Tyrion would find great satisfaction in taking Casterly Rock. It should have been his anyway. It'd be his final f you to Tywin.
