How did they have enough crewmen to man them all?

perhaps the others were just waiting on the ships already. Maybe they are sailing each ship very short-handed.

I'm not the expert. hell the only black dudes in this world ended up locked in his own safe and killed with a paring knife. I'm the LAST dude with answers

Here is the scene

he does say "They stole our BEST ships". But, it looks like only one or two are still at anchor. The rest are at sail.

I assumed they can only survive in the cold. Thus, the "winter is coming" being such a big deal

Then why build a wall at all? It's a obvious barrier and it may or may not be magical, I'd lean towards magic having a part in it IMO, but who knows.

1) Wildlings

2) Prevent attack from whatever is beyond

3) Even with "winter coming", it would be better to have a wall than not.

Yeah I think he was trying to log on, but CAPS LOCK WAS ON AND IT WAS frickING UP THE PASSWORD.

Thankfully the Raven told him "Check the CAPS LOCK". Before he tried it a third time and got locked out.

Don't be that way. You know how when they make movies and the movie is set in the 1600 but a light bulb makes an appearance but electricity wasn't invented until 1759? That's where I was going with the question...I thought I heard "log in" and I was like, wait...that doesn't fit.

She definitely said "Warg into Hodor."

Also, you really should watch the show with subtitles. It really helps a lot.

I like that the Bran angle is giving us answers now, but I don't like that it's getting a little Terminator-y with timelines and such.

Awesome episode though. Part of me hopes that Hodor can make it (not die), but I doubt it. That shite was hitting me right in the feels though.

And Dany is that hot girl that keeps that one dude in the friend zone, all while stringing him along and keeping him JUST interested enough to not go away. Jorah is her dick in the glass case.

Hodor dead bro. They gave him one of not the best death scenes in the series. He went out like a boss.

Seems like Butterfly Effect to me. He can change as much as he wants but the results will still end up essentially the same or worse in the end.

As soon as Meera yelled "Hold the door!" at him the first time, I was like uh oh...

Honestly I think one of the best deaths in any series or movie. How it managed to simultaneously answer a question (his name's origin) and elicit such strong emotions without feeling over-dramatic or overdone was amazing.

THAT is how you do a "traumatic death of a beloved character"!

If it were the Walking Dead show runners, they would have had the group run out the cave, yell "Hold the door!"...and then fade to black with "Tune in NEXT season to see who held the door? Did that person die? It will be fantastic....see you in 8 months!"

Same thing basically as LOST as well. I only used that specific analogy since the same director did all those episodes as this one.
