I like brienne too. She was a little boring in season 5, but has been good otherwise.

I don't dislike her but she's so one dimensional compared to all of the other characters. Everybody is so layered and has lots of depth, and then there's Brienne "The only things that matter are my honor and the oaths I've taken" of Tarth.

keeping promises is a bad idea in Westeros
of course... breaking them kinda sucks too...
So... fear not. If you don't like a character, odds are they are going to end up dying a horrific death at some point.
