This and the immediate goal is to buy peace in Maureen by getting rid of the support for the Sons of the Harpy. I think he's thinking Dany will deal with the slavers when she comes back however she sees fit but, for now, he needs to settle things down in Maureen.

Ok, so here's my predictions based on the short preview and description:

1. Sansa and Co. arrive at the wall and Sansa and Jon are reunited. She tells him EVERYTHING Ramsey did to her. About that time, a raven shows up with a message for Jon from Lord Ramsey of Winterfell!

2.Littlefinger has reunited with Sweet Robin and to gather the Vale army to aid Sansa in retaking Winterfell.

5. Mereen-I have no idea what is going to happen here. Hopefully all the masters show up for a meeting with Tyrion and the dragons flambe all of them.

6. Dosh Kahleen Temple-Dany goes to the top of the temple and faces all of the Khals to receive her sentence while Dario and Jorah fight their way through the temple to save her. She doesn't need them though because she channels her dragon, who swoops into town breathing fire through the temple and everyone in that room bursts into flames, except Dany. She is the only person left standing in the room.

how's she going to keep the "rape" out of "rape and pillage" though?
one nice pair of tits and some dragons isn't going to stop thousands of years of learned behavior. if all of a sudden the Mongol-bros completely change their reaving ways that's going to be hard to swallow from a narrative standpoint

I have no idea if this is the status on the show or not. This is another potential spoiler, in honor of A Dude Abides, but the siege was lifted in the books by Jaime and it was turned over to a Frey - well before now. Since it doesn't appear he's headed that way, or Loras to Storm's End for that matter, we have to assume those sieges or their outcomes aren't really all that important to the show at this point - other than Edmure's continued survival, Loras' health being in question and the Blackfish's escape/status as being on the lam.

But, seriously, they haven't mentioned River Run on the show in so long, I figured they forgot it completely.

To be fair if you pay enough attention and aren't a comatose Khal Drogo then you can come to that conclusion

Almost done rewatching E4.

I ended up rewinding and rewatching the scenes at the Wall a few times. That is the best storyline this season (until they head south) .
