Only question is whether LF shows up before, after, or during. Well get more of a clue of that this week, as LF is in the previews for the episode
I think it will be like how Tywin showed up in Blackwater. Towards the very end of the Battle. I think LF will initially join with Jon, but the moment he has Sansa back in his greasy paws, the battle recomences, this time with LF's forces (fully intact) vs Jon's (which have been withered). Jon has to retreat, and LF will end the season ruling Winterfell.

Yeah we know, you've said it 109 times

So you think the Umbers, karstarks and manderly's follow LF?

Umbers and Karstarks, yes. For the Umbers as far as they're concerned, Sansa would be the rightful Queen in the North (provided Rickon is killed). On top of that, LF will almost eradicate the Wildlings south of the Wall which will be gravy.
Karstarks are allying themselves with Ramsay at this point, so I can buy it.
Manderlies I don't know since they haven't been elaborated upon on the series. In the books hell no, but I'm not sure about the show.
And keep in mind I'm saying he's ruling through Sansa, not LF himself ruling in name. I think LF will be Sansa's official Hand. I also think he'll weasel his way into Northern favor by massacring the Freys on his way up to face the Boltons.

I think it will go down like this. Jon and his wildling army (and maybe some smaller northern houses like the Mormonts) face the Bolton army that includes the Karstarks and the Umbers (I'm not sure yet how D&D are going to play the Manderly's yet). Jon's army puts up a good fight until the numbers start being felt. Then when it seems like the Bolton/Karstark/Umber army is about to finish Jon's army off, Littlefinger and the Knights of the Vale will swoop in and save the day.
I'm going to hate it if this is what happens, because it will suck if a southern army has to step in and save the Starks. But I can definitely see it going down like this, unfortunately.

So the army of the Vale veers off the kingsroad, sieges the Twins, one of the most fortified strongholds in westeros, gets back on the kingsroad, sieges a bolton held moat cailin (never been done in history), travels up through the neck to winterfell...then defeats the Boltons and then defeats Jon Snows army.
Is that it? Do they siege the land of always winter too?

Either that won't be discussed on the show, or they will play it off as LF tricking Ramsay into thinking he is coming to be on his side.

That dude was the fooken legend of gin alley. He also brought a bastard sword to a close quartered double bladed knife fight. Jon had the wrong weapon out to win that fight.

I think that Cersei will "command" that LF and the Freys go and take back the North from the Boltons. LF will instead use the opportunity to massacre them in order to get the Northern lords to his side.
And it won't be a siege. He will just break bread with Walder and have his army littered throughout the Twins. Then when the time comes, he simply kills them all.
I mean, who else is going to kill Walder Frey? We all think this is the season where karma finally hits him. Sansa is way in the North with no army to speak of. No way the Faceless Men send Arya to Westeros to kill him given her connection. Bran is stuck with the Bloodraven. Rickon is held hostage by the Boltons. And Jon is busy battling the Others/the Boltons. Who else can kill Walder Frey? LF is the only one popping into my head.

I haven't thought of this, but the people who hold it could be sick of Ramsay's bullshite and want the guy with an army that killed Robb Stark's killers. I honestly doubt this part will even be mentioned. I think the only battle they will partake in is outside of Winterfell.

You do realize Castle Black has no walls to defend it from the south and hardly any men? Ramsay wouldn't break a sweat taking Castle Black.

I'm with you on everything until the Frey part.
The Vale army can get through the neck because the Boltons think Lf is on their side
If they slaughter Walder at the twins, a raven will surely find its way north with a letter.
Unfortunately, I think walder Frey will die of old age in his sleep. His house will then cannibalize itself between Edwyn Frey and Black Walder, which would undo all the years of work Walder did to gain respect.
Which would be the worst fate he could imagine for himself.
I see walder Frey is slated to appear in season 6.

With Black Walder himself, I am a fan of him escaping the Twins, and then as he gets into the Forest south of the Twins, he's murdered by Nymeria's pack.

Alfie looks like he had already read the books and was going for another part and then he found out he was gonna be Theon

If they do it like that then you are also killing any chance of some Frey revenge by the Starks or northerns
Your story is getting worse and worse

i meant to post this in this thread, but accidentally put it in the crackpot thread
As far as how the show and books wrapt up:
im pretty sure its gonna end with Bran waking up from his fall from the tower, realizing it was all a dream, he stands up, walks over to Robert Baratheon and says "hey, the queen and her brother were just fricking"
and then it ends

In the books I think Sansa will be there for it, but that seems like that's out of the window on the show.
And if you think my idea is so bad, feel free to spit out some ideas on how the Starks could be involved in it. I've told you specifically why at least this season they wouldn't be involved, and most of us think the Freys go down this year. Tell me how it's going to happen in order for a Stark to do the deed. At least LF has the Cat connection as well as motive to murder them.
