It seemed too small to be Shaggydog. I haven't seen in ages it seems, but I swear his head was bigger than that.

I thought the TOJ scene was fine. They had to change the dialogue up for the people that hadn't read the books. Otherwise, they wouldn't have known why they were there.

I didn't have an issue with it either. Especially since we haven't seen the last of it. As said, they had to point out who Howland Reed was and all of that for non-readers.

I think they're working Arya and Jon's storylines beautifully right now.

I'm not a big fan of Jaime being back in Ceresi's fold. It taints his redemption arc for be a little bit.

Ceresi and Qyburn scare the frick out of me.

No doubt!

I would have been ok if they added a line from Ned asking about his sister. The "Woe to the usurper if we were" and "Aerys would yet sit the throne, and our false brother would burn in seven hells" lines are so amazing.

Exactly. Why not use more of the dialog from the books? That is some of the best dialog in the whole book series.

And why no Dawn?

Could the Bull be in the tower?

I thought the Bull was one of the ones killed and that Whent was the one who was cut. Granted my first thought was the Bull was too young, but that's no where on my radar as far as a rational complaint on that scene is concerned.

Why no third King's Guard? They couldn't find someone to do that scene right?

Also I'm still on the GNC train. That is one of the best things going in the books. If they write all of that out I will legit be pissed.

You're the one who was shitting all over TFA, man. I think that's a movie you have to be miserable not to enjoy.

I just remarked upon the Emperor having no clothes. To each his own.

Maybe it's just coincidence (and you know it isn't personal) but it just seems like every week there is a Rebe...I mean Ackba...I mean Black Bear (or is it Bear of Color now?) that is just a horrible curmudgeon in this thread.

Not saying that it's completely without warrant but y'all just seem to take it to this level of bitter hatred...I don't get it.

I think the thing I misliked the most about that episode was changing the dialogue at the tower of joy. With that said I don't see any other way they could have shot Arthr Dayne fighting 5 fricking guys by his self without two swords.

Yea, they had to simplify it and I understand why. Hodors can't have too many people introduced at one time, plus the dialogue would have been too much for their brains to comprehend.

If you are going to cut one it seems you would could Whent, but Dayne seemed to be doing the talking. I would assume the Bull would have done more talking if he was there.

For all we know Ramsay has never seen a dire wolf. They're not common south of the wall anymore

I just rewatched it, and the head seemed to be as big as Ghost's head is on the show. But the direwolves on the show are not as big as what they are supposed to be in the books, it didn't look as big as I would imagine it would be.

Yep. Still hanging on to Meera is Jon's sister and Howland Reed is the High Sparrow.

He's very familiar with gigantic dogs though, and a wolf isn't much bigger (if at all) than they are. It would take a monstrous wolf to immediately impress Ramsay.

But Ramsay seems to be fascinated with canines, so I would imagine he's know what a normal wolf head looks like.

Honestly, I think they just wanted Dayne to look more impressive FOR the readers.

Plus, they might have consultants who've told them that you cannot beat that many men with one sword. You need to attack from both sides. One of the swords was probably Dawn.

Or who knows? Maybe they've come to really hate the hordes of nerds who nitpick ever single fricking thing they do. I know I'd get sick of it after a while.

I'd buy it if HS didn't look 40 years older than Ned
