Does Tyrion get killed upon returning to Westeros?

The Aerys theory is pretty thin, and since it can't possibly be played out (who in the world would know this and be able to prove it?), it probably isn't true.

I agree, I don't really support that theory. The subtle hints that are in the book are peculiar though. I guess it is just to describe how weird Tyrion looks (i.e. different colored eyes and silverish blonde hair), but it is weird how GRRM states all this.
