he is probably running at 80% seeing as he is old as frick and been on the road for quite a while....then add the Greyscale.

Did I miss any?
None of those characters were established characters.

i don't think jorah is that good of a fighter. i mean he's a knight and a quality figher, but he's not elite
he beat the dothraki in season 1 b/c he had armor, not because he was a superior fighter
he beat those guys in the pits b/c they're just random slaves who probably have no idea how to fight`

I don't understand the disgust with this scene. Melisandre is sort of a prophet of The Lord of Light she has worked great magic in front of Stannis and his army. At this point there is no doubt in Stannis's mind who the true God is.
Compare this to Abraham in the bible. The binding of Isaac. Although God had mercy on Abraham and the Lord of Light did not. The point remains that Abraham was willing to sacrifice his Son to God.

let's also remember, as viewers, that we have seen the lord of light do crazy things (like the smoke monster that stannis saw and when that guy from the brotherhood without banners was resurrected by thoros of myr). i mean we know the lord of light does exist and does create miracles. it's not about faith at that point

So what? Killing kids is killing kids and shouldn't be that shocking to GOT viewers anymore. Hell, Jamie is a fan favorite at this point and he tried to kill Bran in the first episode.

So you remember Thoros' name but not Beric Dondarian?

thats like saying that when the guy got his head chopped off in episode 1 it should mean as much to us as when Ned gets wtfchopped.
Of course knowing the character and having ties to them will make it worse.

There's a lot of fricked up stuff in the old testament. If you think God and the devil playing with Job's life isn't fricked up, you have a lot of growing up to do as a person. A loving entity would never ask the physical sacrifice of a son/daughter. I'm just going to hope you're trolling.

i remember thoros of myr more for the stories of his flaming sword from the histories and lore pieces

Yeah, he was going up against the best of the best in Essos more or less, not some random chumps. It would have been pretty silly if he had killed them all no problemo

Help me remember correctly... in the scene with Doran Martell and Elaria Sand where she kneeled before him: Did he say that he believes in second chances and in third chances as well?
My wife pondered what the Sand Snakes would do now b/c they will get another chance. I think she heard it wrong. I thought he said no third chances.
I was trying to pay full attention, but had the LSU game on my tablet.

he said he doesnt believe in 3rd chances.
he was basically telling her that she best not frick up again or else she be dead meat.

Doran Martell is pretty awesome.
This, he and Oberyn were two of the most rational and level headed characters on the show. It felt good to see him put that bitch Ellaria Sand in her place.

He should've executed those three sand snakes right in front of her as soon as she "reswore" allegiance
