I'm late to this party, but this season of GoT has Dexter'd me.
If there is one thing I hate in writing, it's the build up then 180 degree turn. IE, you show something one way, it's the truth, then in a quick turn with very little explanation or care, you make everything you wrote earlier irrelevant.
I'll let you guess the storylines I'm talking about. Jon isn't involved.

I have no idea what you mean either.

Stannis I guess?
Should I explain all the fallacies this season presented to the last 4 seasons or are we good?

Go for it
If you honestly thought Stannis was AA, or that he would come out on top in the end, i dunno what to tell you

sure there is.
Not really
Nobody gives a shite about Bran, whereas Jon Snow is arguably the most popular character on the show at this point.
JS and Tyrion are pretty much the bell cows of GoT at this point. If they are gonna bring Jon back (and it's painfully obvious almost to the point of absurdity that they are) it's gonna be almost immediately.

So, I'm convinced that Jon Snow will be back. Based on interviews I've read, it seems pretty clear that there's something not final about the whole thing. There are a very small amount of people who know for sure what the future holds, but that's one aspect I'm fairly confident about. Yes, he's dead. That's all that people seem to say, but will he be back? No one has answered that definitively.
Just think about how fricking awesome it will be when he comes back. It will be one of the greatest TV moments in history. It's pretty brilliant of them to do it this way.

Even looking past popularity, Jon is the only perspective into the most important storyline I'm the entire show (the white walkers). His perma death would either kill most of the good storylines or make them incredibly boring
Plus, what do you do with his body for an entire season? You just gonna ignore the fact that he's dead for 2 years?

Not really. It's stupid honestly
We will know he's back the second he's seen on set. They are just spending way too much effort on something that they can only hold under wraps for a couple months
If they wanted that moment, they should've revived him the same season he died

Sorry I'm late to the party.
Been busy the last couple of days and just now had a chance to do some research on the subject. I'm not a GOT guru like you, oh great one.

Well I mean, this show isn't exactly following congruent timelines. Multiple times in the series it is obvious we've hopped forward or backwards months at a time from scene to scene.
But I agree that they won't abandon Jon for more than a few scenes in the premiere next year.

Even the most Hodor of hodors won't be able to avoid the news of him being back on set. ESPECIALLY now that they have made it such a big deal with the "NU UH HES DEAD!!"
The second you see his crow uniform in principle photography in 2 months, the internet will be full blown with the news. Your granny that doesn't know how to use a computer will share it on Facebook, it'll have 20 threads on here, and buzzfeed will probably write an article like "20 reasons why game of thrones fans are freaking out over kit Harrington being on set!(slideshow)"
It will be known. It is known

Umm when?
The event in the shows time period is only over about 3-4 years btw

Yeah, they won't be able to keep this one under wraps.
