If you watched the commentary, they referred to the death the Faceless Men give as a "gift". Arya's killing of Meryn Trant was a gift for herself, not for him. It proved that she was Arya and not No One. That's all pretty self explanatory.

what was the significance of the ring....a trail of breadcrumbs?
That's what D&D claim.

Jorah and Daario are supposed to be pretty damn good at tracking people and animals.
It's not that crazy to believe they would notice the Dothraki had ridden near where Drogon landed (the ground was burned and filled with bones where he was laying) and then realize the horses rode around in a circle in the field where she dropped the ring.
The grass would be all kinds of trampled in that area.

I don't know if Jon is resurrected or not, but it will be interesting in the coming months when they start filming s6. If Jon comes back it will get out, there will be no keeping that a secret in this day and age. People will be on lookout for him at all times to see if he's back filming so it's not like we'll have to wait until next April (that is unless you choose to live under a rock)
Jon Snow/Kit Harrington will come back. The confirmation will come once filming starts.
It is a mortal lock.

Stannis' sellswords deserted him. That is why he was outnumbered.
Certainly a big part of it (half of Stannis' army left in the night), but the Bolton's may also have picked up some new sellswords looking for work (i.e., those that left Stannis).

I doubt it. The show mentioned how much the cold and snow effected the sells words (a good bit of them deserted when the snow hit, well before Shireen got burned)
They probably all just took their happy asses back to Bravos

I took her shock to be more about how he as a drunk and she felt he wouldn't be able to...not that she wouldn't be able to do everything he could do.
This. She said something to the effect "you shouldn't have this power" as in she was surprised he could do it, not that she or others couldn't do it.

So what does that say about Snow then since his men literally stabbed him in the heart?
That some small group of his men are traitorous short sighted bastards (not to mention cowards who couldn't take Jon one on one) led by the biggest and littlest pricks on the show.

That burtal killing wasn't satisfying, it was horrifying, especially because of the toll it has taken on Arya.
I haven't liked the toll the story has taken on Arya, but the killing of Trant was just another notch on her belt. Arya became a cold-hearted killer seasons ago.

I just realized that now that Shireen and Stannis are gone, there is no legitimate King or Queen.

Dany.
Stannis is blood of the usurper anyway

Nah. He gave that interview to Entertainment Weekly, Not congress Dude is just lying to throw scent of the trail
I don't even think he was lying or had to. Read what Harington said - he's been told he's "dead" and there's no question he's dead at the end of this season. However, he never said anything about whether his character gets brought back to life. In fact, as to anything about the future, he deferred to D&D, saying that anything about the future is in their heads and hasn't been shared with him.

So when (and these are stricly my thoughts on what I think will happen) Melisandra brings him back to life, he will no longer be Jon Snow, but he will be Jon Targaryian
Perhaps I missed something but where is there any hint in the show that Jon is a Targaryian? or is your and others' reference to same just speculation?

And not directly, but it's more likely than some other options based on where we know Ned was before he came back.

I think in the early/midpoint of this season at the Wall Maester Aemon is talking about Targ family history or some shite, then JS walks into the room and the camera kind of pans to him in a weird way, or something of that nature.

I could see them trolling us and leaving his storyline out for a season like Bran. Then opening the next season with him being resurrected.

There's no feasible way to leave his storyline out for a season like they did with Bran
