I saw three correct guesses that happened in the last episode that never happened in the books.
FTR I guessed that the Sand woman would poison Myrcella and really thought the kiss was the delivery system (I'm a reader, but not to the Darkstar storyline, yet.)

I know I posted one of the original casting threads. I had been reading these books since 2000 so I was pretty jacked. Most people didn't give a shite.
I'm hoping for some real meltdown shite
I just want some "PETER frickING DINKLEDGE?!! WHAT THEY JUST HIRE THE FIRST MIDGET THEY FOUND?! OUTRAGE!"

Yeah, that was very dumb of her. All Jaime has to do is drop off Trystane and Bronn off on a beach, turn around, and then demand that Doran executes all the Sand Snakes and Ellara or else he'll return the favor by executing his son, and that's all she wrote.
EDIT: And even if Jaime doesn't turn around, what does Ellara really think is going to happen to her nephew when he gets to King's Landing? Cersei would hang Trystane for sure, or hand him over to Qyburn if she felt like an extra dose of vengeance. She is just a vengeful idiot who makes no sense. At least I think Darkstar was paid off by either LF or Varys to kill Myrcella in the books. But it really makes no sense in the show, especially considering Oberyn's character.

It blows my mind how little some people pay attention to the show while watching it.
Why even watch the show if you're gonna be that clueless? How do you enjoy it?

Actually I don't think the name "Azor Ahai" is ever actually spoken on the show. Him and the prophecy are described, but I don't think anyone actually says "Azor Ahai".
ETA: But I could be wrong on that, but I can't remember it if it was mentioned.

Think they did in season 2 on dragon stone, they show Stannis pulling out "lightbringer" after burning the false idols and she's giving a speech and I'm pretty sure she either says AA or gives a detailed description of what he is
Either way it's a real thing in the show

I couldn't find anything in Google that mentioned it, but I found one site that claimed it had NOT been outright mentioned in the show.

Maybe by name but they deffinitly have said the prophesy. Which is more than enough for it to be a thing in the show

This is what happens when they make stretches to accomodate story shifts/character omissions (Arienne's story shifted to Oberyn's paramour - no Aerys Oakheart, no Darkstar) - and when you realize that in the books, the Sand Snakes are going to try to make Myrcella Queen and in the show they try to kill her - we're talking about different stories in the same literary universe now - and the longer it goes, the more deviations will have to be made.
The Dorne storyline was a complete waste of time in the show, IMHO - particularly if they were going to frick it up this badly. Let's hope the same fate doesn't await the Kingsmoot (but I'm not optimistic).

They have definitely said the prophesy (I believe Thoros was the first to actually give a detailed account of the prophesy). But it isn't talked about near as much on the show, as it is in the books.

Mel on dragon stone goes pretty detailed about it in season 2
It's not as emphasized in the show as in the books, but what is?

After watching the "Inside the Episode" for this week I don't think Stannis is dead.
They talked a lot about how Brienne saw Stannis as an honorable man when she expected to find a truly wicked man. I mean, they emphasized that pretty hard. I think this gives her second thoughts and she swings her sword into the tree in frustration. She's noble to a fault and can't take his life because in that moment she developed a begrudging respect for him.
Could be way off, but that's where I'm leaning.
Also, the "breadcrumb" explanation for Dany dropping her ring is lame.

It's possible
But give me one good reason for keeping Stannis alive at this point? There isn't one

The only possible way Stannis survived under this line of thinking is if Brienne was hit from behind by Bolton men, and Stannis and Brienne are both captured and flayed/tortured.
The puzzling thing about that scene was the way that Brianne delivered the 'killing' blow. Watch it again. Stannis is leaning against a good size tree. Brianne says her last word to Stannis and thenswing the sword from the back of Stannis as to behead him. The only problem is that the tree is in the way.
Either that was bad acting or Stannis is still alive and has a role to play. Remember, the book and HBO has significantly diverged.

Also don't forget Stannis was sliced in the back of the hamstrings
He was going to bleed out anyway. Brienne isn't a Maester, she can't heal him
Even if he magically didn't die from bleeding out, he's still a cripple, is Brienne going to carry this dude on her shoulders to god knows where because he told her "do your duty"
Would be lame as hell
