Okay so Varys just shows up in the masters chambers out of thin air?
Tyrion was outside on a wall, not is the throne room. I don't think Varys had to walk through the masters chambers to get to him.
ETA: But even if he did, it is Varys we are talking about.

I kept wondering how Melisanrde would show up at the Wall in this episode. They made it happen, and that point, and that point alone tells me with near 100% certainty that Jon will be revived and free of his vows, and the Free Folk and the remnants of Stannis' army and the sell swords will follow him down to winterfell.
Varys will get word of the White Walkers after the retaking of Winterfell and the Dothraki horde will follow Khaleesi over the "water the horses cannot drink".

There's like a billion reasons why him dying like this makes no sense
What is she doing at the wall if he is just done for? Why would she have tried to frick him earlier this season?
Killing him accomplishes nothing and makes a whole lot of other shite useless

Are we sure Tyrion wasnt hallucinating Varys on the balcony? I mean all that wine will mess with your head.

I was expecting a meltdown over Robert Strong having a head

Same here, but where is that "2 year contract" link so my girlfriend can sleep tonight?

Part of the troll is that he said that that report was bullshite
But that's exactly what a troll would say

Speaking of this, how in the hell does Varys know everything he does in virtually every part of the world that he does without knowing about the White Walkers?
Unless he does. And restoring the Targaryen line isn't the only reason he's adamant to put Dany there (or any Targ if we consider Aegon).

I just figured it probably wasn't "his" head. Cause ol' Dr. FrankenQyburn rolls like that.

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington has said he regrets entering a contract that obliges him to keep his hair long for the duration of the hit HBO show, saying he "screwed himself over".
The actor, who plays Jon Snow in the fantasy series, told Metro the agreement had been, with hindsight, a bit of a mistake.
"How the f**k did they do that? I screwed myself over there," he said.
Harington made the admission in response to Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer calling him an "idiot", because her and other female cast members had opted instead to wear wigs.
He added: "I don’t want the bother of it all really. If you look a certain way or you have a certain look it dominates what people think you are. So I’ll cut it off quite soon. As soon as I’m allowed."

Ok, jumping into the fray:
- GRRM asked D&D who Jon's mother was when they approached him about making the series, sort of a test. He's the most important character. He had to die to be freed from his vows. Jon will be resurrected by Mel.
- Here's a show crackpot for you, all of the pics posted before the episode turned out to be legit except for the "warg" pic. What if that was legit too, but was for next season? Opening shot, Jon's fallen body, bleeding out, then, suddenly his eyes go white and he wargs. Instead of warging into Ghost, though, he sees the Tower of Joy or some other vision that reveals who he is. After the vision, he wakes up with Mel praying over him, just like with Berric and Thoros. We've seen Bran do this.
- That interview is a smokescreen. Nowhere in that interview did he say that the contract rumors were false and, even if he does say that somewhere, it only proves that they are willing to lie to keep people guessing.
- Kit cut his hair for another project. GOT is not his only gig. He has more than enough time for it to grow back before filming.
- It has been established (although there are some on here that believe otherwise) that the White Walkers have to raise the dead, this isn't TWD. They're on the wrong side of the Wall to do this. If Stannis is dead, he's dead. They already have a Night's King, they don't need another.
- Nothing happened to Brienne. Either she killed Stannis (likely) or she spared him.

Don't think he has any birdies north of Winterfell
He could easily just not believe in them just like everyone else
He seems far more concerned with playing the game of thrones than the war to come

are we believing this?!
Here is the key to Kit's interview:
quote:
They sat me down and said, “This is how it is.” If anything in the future is not like that, then I don’t know about it – it’s only in David and Dan and George’s heads. But I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season. So that’s all I can tell you, really.
Like I said in an earlier post, I could see D&D not having Kit in next season. They could show Ghost running out of Castle Black, and the audience looking out of his eyes (which would turn out to actually be Jon looking out of his eyes). Then they bring Kit back in Season 7.
Book readers will melt for another year before Kit is spotted on the season 7 set.
