which is why I think the Unsullied have their stones.
I am pretty sure this is the readers thread but just in case there is spoiler below.
From Storm of Swords:
“In Yunkai and Meereen, eunuchs are often made by removing a boy’s testicles, but leaving the penis. Such a creature is infertile, yet often still capable of erection. Only trouble can come of this. We remove the penis as well, leaving nothing. The Unsullied are the purest creatures on the earth.”

It's a little old fashioned, but to each their own.

Which is part of the reason why I don't like that Grey Worm storyline. I was under the impression (as another poster stated) that if a eunuch loses his junk before puberty, like Unsullied do, that they wouldn't have any sex drive
Not saying that I'm wild about the storyline, but GRRM DOES mention that the Unsullied still have...needs, attraction to the opposite sex, whatever. It's in ADWD. Missandei/Grey Worm isn't in the books; it comes out when the Sons of the Harpy murder as unsullied on his way back from a whorehouse. Dany wonders why he would go to a whorehouse and someone (Grey Worm or Missandei maybe) tells her that many of them still like to be with women even though they can't do the deed.

Oberyn tossed his spear at my feet and said girl or boy we fight our battles but the gods let us chose our weapons. My father pointed to the spear and to my mother’s tears. I made my choice long ago.
Badass, but not as badass as the original. In the book, the mother tells Oberyn that she isn't even sure that Obara is his.
"He tossed his spear at my feet and gave my mother the back of his hand across the face, so she began to weep. 'Girl or boy, we fight our battles, but the gods let us choose our weapons'. He pointed to the spear, then to my mother's tears, and I picked up the spear. 'I told you she was mine' my father said, and took me".

Well I was just talking about the Unsullied in the show. I knew they didn't have anything in the books, but the books doesn't have the stupid greyworm/missandei subplot of boringness.

The level of effort they go through to argue different points in that thread is hilarious. Why not just read the books if you're going to discuss something so thoroughly?
But nah bruh, they'd rather argue for 20 pages whether or not The Mountain took life threatening wounds.
ETA:Hodors gon hodor.

My head is about to explode from the Hodors..especially Kashonly and his predictions for next episode and his referring to the Freys as the Riverlands Lords

The kids' reactions.

It is so difficult not to post in that thread. I've never been banned, but I might have to take one for the Maester Team.

Second and third time are always better than the first.

Kashonly makes all the other Hodors look like they are GRRM or something

I'm just not interesting in reading what people conjecture about the unknown when the answers are readily available.

So i just got around to watching this episode. That oberyn death scene felt like a punch in the gut even though i knew he was going to die horribly.
Seeing his teeth go flying scross the dirt was a terrible feeling. I genuinely liked that character... and jesus christ do i want cersei to die like the bitch that she is.
