They have to spoon feed the Hodors. I'm amazed they haven't said anything as it was literally spelled out for them.

I have no problem with it. They have a limited amount of media to get the story out. Some things need to be streamlined.

While I really liked everything else about the episode, I think it was an incredibly poor choice on D&D's part to tell the audience about Littlefinger's involvement in Jon's murder when it was incredible in the books. Honestly that chapter may be my favorite in the series.

I've noticed how no one in the Hodor thread has caught on to what was revealed about Littlefinger tonight.
I was really expecting a Hodor meltdown when Dani said she was going to rule over those cities (ie: instead of moving on Westeros). Maybe it was too subtle?
I like how they fixed the issue with Bran and Jon being at Craster's. I squeaked out a little "frick yeah" when Bran/Hodor (Brandor? Brodor?) did the neck-snapping.

I was shocked they moved to that so quickly. Lyssa's look over at Baelish while her son was talking about Jon being poisoned, I thought was a good, subtle foreshadowing but apparently they aren't doing subtle this season.

And the last horse finally crosses the finish line, only to trip and snap its ankle.

Great episode. That scene with Sansa and Littlefingers wife was so fing intense. Also, didn't she reveal that she killed her own husband? Targarean?

I posed a question in the middle ground thread, I want to see which Hodors are really paying attention. I'm looking to see who really understands what Baelish did and is continuing to do.

There's a couple of folks in the Hodor thread that are on the ball. They've realized that Baelish is the one that set all this into motion.

So long Locke. It was fun while it lasted. Speaking of which, it's getting to the point where this show needs a Talking Dead type follow up show where they can do a segment each week on how different people died during the episode. I think Lockes death was not quite up there with Viseryes or the dude Danny burned with her dragon but it was pretty satisfying.
I kind of would have liked to see Hodor do that on his own but I realize the way they did it was more true to the characters (both Hodor and Bran).
Were that group of women really planning on staying North of the Wall? Not a good idea I don't think.

that was one of the best kills in the series

We'll call it Mole Town North...

Agreed. Hodor kicking arse is always welcomed.

Did I see a bone sticking out of his neck?

Indeed you did. That dude's neck got BROKE!

I really hope we get the Wun Wun scene. It'd be a nice little gift from the show to the readers. I doubt his part in the story was important enough to justify a large CGI outlay but I wanna see it anyway.
Elsewhere:
I love Arya but I think she needed that smackdown from the Hound. Apparently she still had a few last vestiges of naivete that needed to be
shredded.
Looks like they're starting with the attempts to get some Cersi sympathy a bit early. I predict it ain't gonna work.

Honestly, it's dumb that Locke just didn't kill Bran then.

Maybe he wanted to take him back to Roose?
