I just don't get it. I don't understand why it matters if something was clarified by a book reader

I completely get that you don't want clarifications,
WTF??
just stay out of the thread, for the 10,000x...just stay out
how, could that possibly be any more clear??

the other thread does not talk about the show.
then that's your problem, please, dont post in this thread....fricking hell

I should restate that there is some discussion of the show, but it often delves into other topics. It is just a very different discussion. Even though I've read the books, I have forgotten so much, and sometimes prefer the discussion amongst the ignorants.

But as we've said over and over, those who "break the rules" don't stay out.
Then ban those motherfrickers. They'll get the idea real goddamn quick.

Troll face
Seriously I'm out of here now. Might see y'all next week. I'm tired of reading all this spoilers not reader reader shite. It's a waste of time

Tiger in NY, they clearly do not want readers in here, so I say just respect their wishes. I also understand how the reader thread always goes off into the crackpot theorizing zone and doesn't stay on the show. That is why I tried to create the Middle Ground thread so that readers have a welcoming place where the show can be discussed without going all crackpot. There have even been a few brave nonreaders venture in to ask questions. Book readers are allowed to give clarifications in the Middle Ground thread, but not in the Nonreaders thread. It's a shame we have to go to these extremes on here, but as Coco has said, there are some posters who just seem unable to control themselves.
eta: Relax nonreaders, I will again exit this thread and hope my return is not needed.

Your a fricking reader you sell out. Keep hiding amongst the show watchers, eventually you will finish the books and come back to your brotherhood without illiteracy

There's almost no way to say this without sounding like a dick, but you were never "needed" in here to begin with.
That being said, your stance on it is appreciated.

Let me have my delusions of being at least semi-valuable.

Interesting. I figured tebow was a reader based on things he's said before.

I've read the first book. Im probably about episode 3 maybeeee 4 area in reading the second book. Havent read in weeks. I'm no where near up to date. Im not about to be in the other thread. If I go there I will get spoiled.
And the middle ground thread is the same. I'm at a different place and stuff and don't want to read something I don't know.
Obviously I'm not a book reader since I messed up what the saying meant
Cocomo- yeah I am a reader but I have no clue at all what's going on now. Because like I said I'm not close to up to date. I wouldn't be in this thread if I already knew what was gonna happen. I wouldn't post. I might read and make fun of people like me but wouldn't post

Oh I understand. But you're still coming from a different knowledge base than the rest of us.

Sorry tebow didn't mean to lead you out to the lynch mob. Come to the middle ground thread you would appreciate the links from the season 2 DVD extras with the back stories. We will protect it from spoilers.

Although this type of issue is what I was bringing up from the guy with the podcast. Different people will delve into the story cannon at different depths. it's hard to exclude people because they watch HBO extra features or read blogs, this show has a ton of background history being provided by HBO you can't punish those who do their homework

Not really. The first book is like identical to the season. Haven't read much of book 2.
Only reason I know a decent amount is because I watched the episodes so many times. And my roommate was good at keeping me in the know of who was who and stuff without spoiling anything for me

Tebow, better ask for a trial by combat.....
Posted on 4/17/13 at 3:40 pm to CE Tiger
I don't ask for things
I demand them

"You are Wrong"
Started all this...
Wow.
Posted on 4/17/13 at 3:49 pm to Sid in Lakeshore
Yeah, I don't think that's what started it. It started in last season's non-reader threads and, like a Martin story, it's never going to end.
