It depends on how true Tywin holds to the "protecting the family name" thing I guess. He's all about Lannisters, and I'd assume that also means not just his children, but also extended family, a.k.a. anyone with the last name.
Seems like he's way more concerned with "the name" than the actual people.

True, but he was also REALLY pissed at that dude for disobeying orders, so some of that could've been him talking shite. If he thinks about it, having even little mostly-unimportant Lannisters is better than having none. ?
Also, great line last night when Robb looks at the dude and was like "I have a fricking mill, you dipshit."

Like I said, I literally didn't know they did that until he asked me about it. Had I known that, I'd have likely been watching them. But I figure since it's been two and a half seasons and I haven't done it yet, might as well continue that.
But they know you're gonna watch anyway.
