I have not read any of the books and could care less about spoilers. I always check this thread to fill in any blank spots after I watch the show. The people getting their panties in a wad, need to get a life. It is just a TV show. Thanks for all the insight fellas.

I was a non-reader once and I despised readers coming into the non-reader thread, even if it was for harmless chat.
Me too, so I get where they are coming from. But to jump on someone for clarifying that "Sam did not get Gilly pregnant" is just retarded.
Anyway, I don't recall, but are the Ironborn in the third book at all? Will their story advance?

What book was the kingsmoot in?

whoa help board thread was deleted after three posts. One of the higher ups supports the segregation.
Oh well.
John Snow Dies. So must equality.

Theon's father still needs to die. Then the Kingsmoot, then they sail on for Essos.
I didn't like those chapters so I kinda breezed through them.

The Iron Islands stuff really bored me too. Does Balon die in this book?

same here, it just doesn't seem like it's going to tie into the end game of the big picture.

Book readers posting in there is straight-up trollish behavior. Don't claim altruistic motives because by this time, we all know better.
It is now. It wasn't always that way. I really enjoyed the help the readers gave us last season when I was a non-reader and had no idea what was going on.
But as Bob Dylan said, the times, they are a changin.

hmm someone just changed Literates to "book readers" like there was confusion?
Is there a non-book reader mod?

The old dwarf lady hints at it.
“I dreamt I saw a shadow with a burning heart butchering a golden stag. I dreamt of a man without a face, waiting on a bridge that swayed and swung. On his shoulder perched a drowned crow with seaweed hanging from his wings. I dreamt of a roaring river and a woman that was a fish. Dead she drifted, with red tears on her cheeks. All this I dreamt, and more.”

Use the Middle Ground thread. We will answer all the questions you have to clarify things, but avoid true spoilers.

Did anyone like the iron islands part of the books?? It was just impossible to care about anything they were doing for me, it seemed really non-essential in the grand scheme of things.

That is what I don't get, but something in my gut tells me that Patchface and The Drowned God are going to be connected.

No. Could be GRRM trolling us. Watch the Iron Throne end up in the hands of Asha or some shite.

A non-book reader must not know the definition of literates. A non-reader was in this thread by accident.
How about you change it to non-Hodors? That should calm down the shitstorm.

The whole dragon horn thing burning the guy from the inside was pretty awesome and how everyone then started chanting Crows Eye at the kingsmoot, but it definitely dragged on for a while.

i think its introduction of Victarion was pretty important because i think he's gonna have a pretty big role in either book 6 or 7 or both

This would make the non-readers "Hodors", or in other words, Giant Retards
