I really don't care, I just found it funny he called someone out for a non-spoiler and then had one.

it wasn't a spoiler and it was stated in the show. Now I deserved to be bashed for coming back to this dumb topic though

right, the book readers thing does imply that there will be spoilers. But the OP stated he just wanted to know if the "gay stuff" was in the books.

Question was answered.

Then the thread was hijacked and became a spoiler thread. Look I'll bump the real spoiler thread, but we shouldn't spoil things into the fourth book, in a thread with mostly TV viewers in it.

This is not a spoiler thread, it was just a thread to ask one single question.

How else can you "suggest" homosexuality on a tv show without showing it.
not sure if serious. Subtlety is not the show's strong suit.

This.

Okay

You called a poster out for saying "her story gets good".

Then you say there are other main people to contend with, other kings such as Mance Rayder.

I was listing the main people up to this point. Mance has been mentioned but not seen yet.

If saying "x has a huge story coming up" then why is saying "y has a huge story coming up" not a spoiler?

Just going by your definition which in My Opinion is not a spoiler at all.

But I was using your definition.

I was stating the current known people who could enter the fray. It is clearly stated in the show Mance Rayder is gathering forces north of the wall. You've known Danys goal is to someday take back her fathers kingdom ever since season 1.
LINK Talking about him at kings landing
LINK Craster telling them about Mance Rayder
now saying I'm spoiling something is really asinine

There really just needs to be a big banner at the top of the board that warns about any GoT thread that doesn't say NO SPOILERS might have spoilers. It's been that way since I've started seeing threads here about ASOIAF. Somebody would start a thread about having just finished the second book and 4 or 5 pages in there would be spoilers from Feast.

I think we just need an official GoT spoiler thread.

I can't believe this bullshite show is trying to normalize incest, child murders, beheadings, and god damn dragons too.

I 'd and needed that after a crazy arse work day.

I'm secure enough in my sexuality and convictions that a tv show isn't going to change how I feel about homosexuality. Anyone who gets that worked up about it should either stop watching if they don't want to see it or deal with the depiction of homosexual couples doing things couples do. No one is forcing you to watch. If you don't like HBO's "agenda" (which I think it pretty manufactured by certain viewers) then don't support them.

As to the "agenda", HBO has already depicted a sex scene between two characters that are heterosexual (Stannis and Melisandre) that was not in the books and was simply implied. So this isn't homosexual exclusive. Just another couple that they chose to show what was going on instead of implying.

I don't. I download all their shows that I want to watch. I would never give them my money. Not to a station that has Bill Maher on the air.

He is gay in the books, but they don't go in detail on it, like the show. The part with margary tyrell talking about needing her brother starting him off to get her pregnant, i don't remember either. Seems like this is just HBO extravagance.

Then why watch at all if it bothers you that much? This season isn't the first physical interaction between them.

You infuse waaaaayyyy to much politics into your entertainment choices.

It's amazing you watch anything not aired on Fox News.

Yeah, after thinking on it, you're probably right. Based on your series of avatars, we're both obviously into pulpy stuff if nothing else. You judge things harsher than I do, but oh well. I was seriously blown away that you had the opinion on this that you did. Seemed closed minded from you.

Because it doesn't bother me that much to the point where it cancels out the rest of the show.

To me it's just a fact though that HBO is run by a bunch of left wing democrats. It's Hollywood and their agenda/s that they push are all too obvious to me.

Hardly. I watch all sorts of movies made by left wing directors as well as most of the music I listen to.
