Fox making a lot of changes - 'Deadpool 2,' 'Gambit,' 'The New Mutants' Get New Dates

The New Mutants, Josh Boone's horror-tinged take on Marvel's teen heroes, gets pushed back 10 months. The movie, which stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams and Charlie Heaton, is jumping from April 13 to Feb. 22, 2019.
Finally, Gambit is seeing its release date move from Feb. 14, 2019, to June 7, 2019. The Channing Tatum vehicle just lost its director — Gore Verbinski exited Thursday — and the search is on for a replacement.
Sucks...I was looking forward to New Mutunts

I wonder if moving Deadpool 2 so close to Solo means they think Solo will fail. Deadpool 2 is gonna have to make a ton of money its first week because Solo will likely get more hype. Now that Disney owns everything they also have to worry about spacing movies out so they don't cannibalize their own profits.

New Mutants looked like a dumb horror movie. Probably was the first superhero movie trailer i saw in the last 10 years , outside of the terrible Fantastic Four whatever you want to call that, that i have no interest in seeing.

There's nothing that will stop people from going watch Deadpool 2. They either will see it or they won't, there aren't outside things that will affect that.

After the rancid abortion known as "The Last Jedi" I don't know if people will be as excited for a Han Solo movie as they would have been just a year ago.
Meanwhile, Deadpool did fricking fantastic so I imagine the hype for it will be considerable, even with Infinity War still skull-fricking other movies.

I will be waiting a couple of weeks for the audience reviews of the solo movie. If it gets bad reviews, Im not giving disney my money.

Disappointed about New Mutants being pushed back. Word is it wasn't scary enough so they're doing some reshoots. Hope it's for the better, but still disappointing.
