And I'll reiterate, I thought it was pretty good. I was just pretty disappointed once it was over. I thought it'd be funnier.

It's plot is the same as every chick flick, nothing original about it.

I saw it for the first time last night and I got to disagree with this. With probably about 45 minutes left I found myself constantly thinking "Where is this movie going?". I did think it was pretty funny, but as some people have recently said, it didn't live up to the hype created by some comments on this board. As far as movies with the usual new cast (Rogan, superbad guys, etc) I would go:

1. Superbad
2. 40 yov
3. Pineapple Express
4. FSM
5. Knocked Up

I laughed just reading this line just now.

I like when the bartender was talking about seaturtles.

"It's seaturtle screwing season. They screw for 3 hours. It's magical!"

Loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall. My favorite of the recent Apatow movies.

And the British guy is Russell Brand and I'll just say, let's hope this movie gets made: LINK

Not a big Segel fan. Didn't like him in Freaks and Geeks either, which was a fantastic show otherwise. FSM was pretty solid. I liked most of the other characters. It wasn't laugh out loud funny for me. Superbad & 40YO Virgin were better IMO.

finally got around to seeing the movie. Definitely not one of the best comedies in the last 5 years people were making it out to be. The main guy wasn't really funny I'm thinking he only got the role because he was willing to show his dick

I have to disagree with earl I thought jonah hill's character was great when he went off on the british guy for not checking out his demo

Most movies never will. This board has varied tastes and will always hit home for one group or another. For instance, the people who think SuperBad was hilarious seem to be younger males that like shock comedy and foul mouth humor. I consider it funny, but probably the weakest of the Apatow flicks.

Regarding FSM, it's another solid Apatow film and the Brit makes the movie.
