***I forgot about his Apple stock,Gump's got more bread than prison meatloaf.

Richard Rich (Richie's dad) demands a recount.

How are Stark and Wayne not worth more? Wayne pretty much owned Gotham and Stark owned a freaking military industrial company.

Isn't Blofeld super rich? - he does have a military base in Japan, secret cave lairs and is #1 of "a private enterprise for private profit".
And this guy replaces Coleman as the richest butler in the world...

Yeah, you'd think they'd both be worth more, and Jed Clampett seems overvalued...must be cookin his books.

How the hell did they estimate Smaug's worth?

I think I read on Moviefone that they did something along the lines of approximate his size, and then use descriptions of the piles of his gold to come up with a number.
ETA: per Moviefone:

According to Forbes' Fictional 15, Smaug, the "hyperintelligent" dragon from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," is now the richest made-up character on the planet, worth a cool $62 billion. (Apparently, a lot of scientific dragon analysis went into that figure, as Forbes took into account the creature's size to see how big his bed of gold coins is).

Lou started Motley Lou and Lougle, has to be on the list.

They missed the real number #3. Mr. Deeds inherited $40 B. Also, this list needs to account for inflation.

Um, I think they're forgetting someone...
Straight cheese yo.

I feel like it likely already does account for it. Like Clampett's fortune back in the 60s would be worth this now, although I'm not sure how they figured that...the overview on Wiki says he sold the drilling rights to the oil company, so I guess he gets that money, plus some cut of the oil that they farm from his land..? Although I'm still not sure how that comes to the billions on this list.
But yeah, Stark should be higher...he basically provides major weaponry throughout the world. That's more than 9+ billion..has to be.

What about Auric Goldfinger, this guy was cornering the market on gold.
1964 - $35.10 troy ounce
2012 - $1,654.0 troy ounce
1964 - $35.10 troy ounce
2012 - $1,654.0 troy ounce

You'd think if Jed Clampett made the list, someone like Daniel Plainview would be on it too.

No shite.
Smaug would spooge himself for just one of the Rich's diamond mines.

Lex Luthor laughs at this list.
