Try through out the entire movie. From the very start...
All Lex Luther did in the Donner film was put a Kryptonite crystal around his neck with a heavy chain. Before and after that, he was iconic epic Superman.

How bad MANY YouTubers say it’ll be.
Spoiler alert! Not all are trashing it. Despite the party girl ‘whatever’ tropes in the trailer, at least one says they’re liking the potential they saw.
I do like the choice of Milly & the suit looks fine AF.

There's a smart way to explain it away. She's at 1/2 power, 1/4 power and can't recharge or it takes far longer.
But she doesn't show any conscious awareness of being nerfed. Same attitude, same snark.
And the tag line. "whatever" ? They really should have put the AMERICAN WAY line in the Superman movie, but they couldn't even do that! You want a 'ha-ha' moment? Snarky Supergirl dissing Clark? Have the line in HIS movie and then for her movie, she goes all contrarian.
But no, Gunn and the freaking DCU can't even bring themselves to be the least bit respectful.

Gunn inserts his own dog, his own idea on what hayseed bumpkin farmers in Kansas are like, mocks Clark, his Kryptonian parents, keeps The American Way out of the movie, then continues the dumping on everything Superman with the 2nd movie, which is absurdly Supergirl?
Not a Batman movie, not a Wonderwoman movie, Or Flash, or Aquaman...but Supergirl?
