The best movie of the summer may be coming our way very soon, if the first reactions to Mission: Impossible - Fallout are to be believed. Tom Cruise has been kicking butt as Ethan Hunt for more than two decades and, somehow, against all odds, he keeps managing to top himself

The new @MissionFilm is CRAZY! Can't catch my breath after the white-knuckle finale. Insane physical stunts will have you asking, "How do they do that?!" Mature story and a few too many double crosses, but a must-see ride for action junkies! Cruise + Cavill = Huge Win

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE — FALLOUT is easily the best action movie since Fury Road. just god-level stuff. the highest praise I can give a movie: I’m not even mad it’s making me late to Radiohead.

#MissionImpossible FALLOUT is exactly as thrilling as you hope it will be! Amazing action, but it never overshadows the high stakes.

We don’t see stunt-work like this much anymore. A breath of fresh air amidst the CGI-fueled summer. Mission: Impossible is as strong as ever.

Just walked out of #MissionImpossibleFallout, which is absolutely fantastic. This movie entertains you in every which way - incredible action sequences, nail-biting suspense & hands down the series best finale yet. My favorite movie of the summer right there - loved every second

Happy to report #MissionImpossibleFallout is a fantastic movie that's absolutely loaded with *insane* action and edge of your seat holy shite moments. Not sure how @TomCruise keeps raising the bar but I'm so happy he does. The bathroom fight scene alone is worth price of admission

We saw #MissionImpossibleFallout last night, and holy sh**, @chrismcquarrie has delivered the grittiest and biggest “Mission” yet. And that bathroom fight, tho? *chef’s kiss

Just saw #MissionImpossibleFallout - it was the very 1st screening of the film with lots of the cast and team in the room. @chrismcquarrie said it was finished 5 days ago. I'm not sure how he keeps upping his game but @TomCruise is fantastic. Stuntman, action hero extraordinaire.

I’m so excited for this one, I’m buying all the MI movies to get caught up. I didn’t even see the last one.

Remember when the tech in these films were Zip Disk and the IBM ThinkPad 701.

Mission Impossible has surpassed James Bond as the best action franchise.

This has to be the midst expensive marketing ever. I have seen maybe 20 movies this year and every single one has had a trailer for MI.I'm glad they got a new trailer after IW. I was getting tired of the first one.

The only shitty movie in the franchise is MI2

Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation were fantastic and the original MI holds up well. MI3 is solid as well. Can’t wait for this one.

ETA: Also kind of disappointed Renner isn’t in this one. Was it because of Tag or Avengers 4?

Ethan Hunt would beat the everloving dogshit out of James Bond.

I'm impossibly excited for this movie.

It’s a good thing this series has a great producer like JJ Abrams who knows what he is doing. Imagine if this series had a producer like Kathleen Kennedy, who would call anyone who loved a gun a supporter of school shootings.

Rewatched 1 and 2 last night. I can see why 2 has the worst reviews out of all of them. The action is so over the top and cheesy. Everything is slow motion with Tom cruises hair flowing in the wind and doves flying everywhere

My God Thandie Newton though..
