18? shite i watched it when I was 12.
that movie also got me hooked on my Fav Christmas Song - Christmas in Hollis by the great Run DMC
ETA - it has always been a Christmas movie to me - watched it every Christmas eve since 88 - with the exception of 94, because I was in basic at Great Mistakes in IL.
how anyone else views it is immaterial - all that matters is how you feel about it. if others laugh, lettem - who gives a shite.

I literally made a shirt like that and wear it every Christmas day.

It’s a Wonderful Life is as much a Christmas movie as Die Hard is.
I want to see this attacked because it seems like a legitimate point.

DV for seeing Diehard for the first time this year (unless you're 16).

Then you are on the wrong team. Christmas movies... are about Christmas, not just set at Christmas. While being set at Christmas, Die Hard isn't about Christmas. But it's also a shame that you are just now watching this awesome movie. And, as others have said, skip 2 and go straight to With a Vengeance. Although 2 did have John Amos in it, so there's that.
The last line of the movie literally is-
“If this is their idea of CHRISTMAS, I’ve gotta be here for New Years”
