I think Nancy dies tonight, and everyone is truly free.
Andy is gone.
Andy is gone.

Great ending loved the stairs scene to end it

The last shot was kind of an "aww..." moment, but that episode was a new low even for Weeds.

I thought it had a lot of classic weeds moments in it. The one that sticks out is the speech stevie gives. The only thing i was thinking was another botwin family moment.
I guess I am a little biased since I started watching the show when I was still in high school and it gives off a nostalgic feeling

I thought it was a pretty good ending. Felt more like the first couple seasons.

I don't wanna come off as a mindless hater, nobody loves the first two seasons of Weeds as much as I do. Even though it came out of left field, I liked the "let's see how they all would've turned out" angle. The storylines were just so wasted. Have we ever seen Doug's son before...ever? Did someone owe the guy from Shameless a favor...why are we dedicating five minutes to Nancy and him reconnecting and kinda, but not really flirting...even though he's gay? Who is Lenny...from Andy's life? Why is Shane an alcoholic, why is he dating a crack whore? Why is he not being arrested for shooting up a cake shop? Why is the Russian baker such a count in the first place? Why is the dead DEA agent's son Tim, who tried to kill her eight episodes ago, her personal asst? Why does Stevie want to go to boarding school? Has any kid in the history of being a kid wanted to go to boarding school? How did they get Romany Malco to come back last week, but not for the finale? Why is the deaf girl such a count to Nancy, even though her stunningly good looking, but pot growing son is rich because of her? Just a few of my questions from tonight.

quote:The first season or two she sold to him. He had a minor role. They're just bring some closure for Doug.
Have we ever seen Doug's son before...ever?
quote:Andy's dad I think. He lived with them in the beach house.
Who is Lenny...from Andy's life?
quote:I don't know. I guess they're trying to show that there are consequences for how she raised them. He was just a kid when shite went down.
Why is Shane an alcoholic, why is he dating a crack whore?
quote:She felt bad that she had some responsibility for getting his dad killed. She wanted to make amends, and did apparently.
Why is the dead DEA agent's son Tim, who tried to kill her eight episodes ago, her personal asst?
quote:Again, consequences. She wasn't always a great mother, and she pissed some people off. I don't really remember her relationship with Silas and Nancy, but she said Nancy was the reason she left. I do think it could have been better, but it could have been pretty bad too. Sucks it's over, even with the mediocre seasons.
Why is the deaf girl such a count to Nancy, even though her stunningly good looking, but pot growing son is rich because of her?

Damn, really? Don't remember that at all.

So what happened?
Spoilers...
They jumped ahead about ten years into the future...weed is legal. Nancy has a huge chain of coffee shops/dispensaries which has made her very wealthy, Starbucks wants to buy her out...she doesn't want to at first, but ends up selling out, making her, Silas, Doug (who runs a famous weed/sex cult), Conrad, and Guillermo (her old Mexican drug connection) all even more rich. She married the rabbi she's been hanging with this season, but he died in a traffic accident in a few years ago...that we never see.
Shane is sixteen year old looking, burnt out, alcoholic cop with the worst mustache I've ever seen, who dates a crack whore, and hangs out with his retired alcoholic cop mentor, who also dates a crack whore. Nancy convinces him in the easiest debate ever to go to rehab.
Silas ends up having a baby that looks like it has Downs Syndrome with the deaf girl, she hates Nancy with a passion. Silas still loves his mom, and doesn't care his wife hates his mom cuz ultimately he lives with his wife.
Andy, after not seeing Nancy for a decade, has a successful "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" type restaurant, has a kid with a friend of his we've never seen. Nancy wants him to move back to be near her, he says he likes his life, and doesn't want to come back to her.
Last scene is Nancy, Shane, Silas, Doug, and Andy sitting on the steps outside her Conn. or NY home...wherever she lives now...smoking weed and giggling.

Surprised they didn't mention Heylia either. Especially since they brought Dean back.

It was about par for the course over the last few seasons... Ive watched it all the way through, if only going through the motions...
It was an easy 30 minutes and it still had its moments...
