Damn. I can't believe how many of you don't straight up HATE Walter White???
He is without a doubt the worst human being ever written for the small screen.
He is a sociopathic egomaniac. He is the most manipulative character of all time. Cares nothing about anyone around him but cloaks everything he does as for his family even though nothing could be further from the truth.
Everything he does is driven by bitterness for being left out of his billion dollar idea and probably losing the woman he loves at the same time.
His desire for respect and power will likely lead to the death of every person he claims to care about, possibly at his own hand, and likely to protect himself.
He is a small, bitter, hateful person that has lucked into being in the right place at the right time through coincidence after happenstance that has prevented him from being caught.

Skylark is an awful, annoying, ugly life draining succubus, but the two of them are equally damaging to each other, while Walter is out to destroy everyone else in his life as well.
Seriously, frick WALTER WHITE.

First, I don't think she ever really wanted Ted. She wanted to hurt Walt (because, well, he was being a lying a-hole even at that point) and do something that would get him away from her. It was the equivalent of Walk hitting on his boss in order to get fired.
Second, he got himself into the position where Gus was a threat to his family. As Mike pointed out to him, if he had just done his damn job there would not have been a problem. Killing Gus at that point was entirely in his own self interest. Don't pretend for a moment that it was altruistic.

It does as, again, Walt is an egomaniac psychopath. Skylar is a flawed character but it isn't for the reasons that are harped on by this board.

I take it this thread is about the characters on the show and not grading the job the actors do. If so, Skyler would have to bear near the top. She's got arguably the toughest job.
