Rocky IV is easily the greatest music EVER put on a CD.

I liked Angels & Demons/Da Vinci Code too.

The soundtracks, and movies.

Dollars Trilogy
Once Upon a Time in the West
Amadeus
BB/TDK
There Will Be Blood
A Clockwork Orange
Star Wars
The Godfather
High Noon
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Wizard of Oz
The Shawshank Redemption

I'm going with "film music" i.e. not distinguishing between score and soundtrack.

See, I really disagree with this.

I loved the movie, but I personally didn't care for the soundtrack. Sustained dissonance just doesn't do it for me, but if you like it, who cares

Can't believe no one has mentioned Draongheart!

Also, Lady in the Water has a great one! I know, I know, but trust me.

Good sountrack, though it has like 234907 tracks

Only problem for me is that while it's great music, it only has a few really exciting moments.

are you talking about the cd that has like the complete recordings that have like all 9+ hours of the movies

Yea, Greenwood really made a solid soundtrack. Still can't top anything by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis. They are at the top of their craft
