I think that was the best episode of the season. Lester has morphed into a complete badass.
Surprised more people are not watching this, each episode has been entertaining and it's a fun series to watch. Time seems to go by very quickly as you watch it, just like the top quality shows. I actually look forward to watching this each week as much as any other show out there.

I agree. More people should be watching. It's fun to watch.

Allison Tolman deserves consideration for an Emmy for her performance as Molly Solverson.
It's all gonna come crashing down on Lester. All. Of. It.

I believe Fargo chose to compete in the miniseries and TV movie category (unlike True Detective which should also be in miniseries but is in drama). She should be close to a lock in that category unless someone from the HBO movie, The Normal Heart, really impressed. I haven't seen it, but that movie was built for the Emmy's like Candelabra was last year.

I would have agreed, and the whole Sudanese thing lost me. But the last 10 minutes redeemed the whole episode. Can't wait for next week.

It was the same thing and Jamie and Tyrion talking in his cell. Kind of a W(here)TF did that come from scene.

This was a tough episode to write because they had to close out the story in 2006 and since the case was going cold all the scenes had a winding down effect. Then they basically had to restart in 2007 to show where everybody is. It was an almost entirely character driven episode.

It was still a very enjoyable episode. A few random quick hits: I thought lester was going to boof his sister in law for a minute especially after she thrusted her sweater hams forward and said "look at me". Her boobs were glorious. If they ever make a movie about the life of Philip Seymour Hoffman, they need to cast the washing machine delivery guy for the lead. Finally, no way that lil bag of tacos would be enough to satisfy the voracious appetite of Molly.

Ok dumb question... So is this really actually based on a true story?
I know they have the disclaimer at the beginning, but I always figured it was for shits and giggles.

Because he sent hit men (Mr. Wrench and Mr. Numbers) after him in retaliation for having killed Hess. Unless you mean the guard outside Mr. Wrench' hospital room, in which case it was so he could taunt his "peer", I guess...

Might be enough since he forgot the red sauce...

No. It is just a call back to the movie which isn't based on a true story. Although the Cohen brothers said some of the events in the movie are based on a variety of real life cases.
This case was the main inspiration to the movie.

No, why did Malvo kill the cop in Duluth? In the bathroom?

Did you watch the show?? He was guarding the deaf/dumb hitman who was cuffed to his gurney.

Ah, didnt know that was in the hospital, it looked like the same bathroom seen in the police station in an earlier episode, i must not have been paying attention to that setup.

Malvo also took the blame away from himself and set up the deaf dude by giving him the key to the cuffs. Thought that was great.
