when he is supposed to be the brother of one of the whitest women in comics I'm sorry but that is a stupid arse thing to do.
if they really want a black character in FF it should be Reed Richards or The Thing.
if you make the Human Torch a black man, you MUST make Sue Storm black as well. That would be a hell of a lot more acceptable than having one be white and one be black.

Yes I do. But I don't have any claim to be tolerant and accepting. Some things about comic book adaptations of comics I grew up with just bother me while some don't. Sue Storm should be blond dammint. A black Human Torch I can accept if well done. Heck, the original WWII era Jim Hammond Human Torch wasn't even human. He was an android or synthozoid.
It also didn't bother me that Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch went from being the children of Ms. America and the Wizard to being the children of Magneto and Magda.
Now Alicia Masters being a Skrull for a long arse time was aggravating (same with Hank Pym).

Not really, if the race of the hero doesn't matter to you, you shouldn't care about it right? As long as the character is written properly.
